I understand you're trying to push me to my full potential but I wanted to go simple for this wallpaper. I'll withdraw if it's not imaginative enough.

Wilson, the concept/idea is a good one. Sometimes simple can be the hardest to achieve.

On my screen, the gradient is scratchy. What I mean is that the colours don't blend smoothly from light to dark.

In any case, I love the concept & give you a big pat on the back for entering. It isn't easy to stick one's neck out & enter a comp - at least not for me.

Nobody is being mean here (...brutally blunt perhaps but I'd read LFC's comment as an opportunity to grow & improve, & take on board WelshBlue comment also. You too, Yoshii.

Just a thought - perhaps we should write an artist statement.

E.g. (Wilson) "In keeping with the theme, this work captures the essence of dark in an uncomplicated way."

Not sure, Wilson. I think that once it's submitted you cannot edit it. Check the rules, first.

Flip, can we give Wilson another shot, please? He's taken on board the comments from older & more experienced artists, & that should be rewarded. (He's only a young one, please?)

Axle, I thought this one was for posting entries only but then saw the other posts. Flip will have to clarify. Good idea though coz it keeps the entries uncluttered & easy to find. Sticky - with you on that too.
