paint.net 5.0.10 is now available!

Recommended Posts

Hi! I love Paint.Net and this update ROCKS, the new spacing feature is really enjoyable as an artist. Is it possible that the spacing feature could show 0% for a "default spacing" right now the bar ends at 1% and I find it a little confusing. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Cheers,

Noah

No, that wouldn't make much sense. It would mean an infinite number of brush stamps.

If you want the default spacing, it's 15%.

Why is the Microsoft Store release recommended over the Classic Desktop version?

It’s recommended over the Classic Desktop version due to the fact that it has automatic updates, rather than you having to manually update it whenever an update is available, and due to the fact that it’s paid, it helps the PDN team financially.

Although there is a way to donate while still having the classic release if you want to help out the developers, by opening the Help menu and clicking “Donate”.

But the automatic updates also only work when having automatic updates enabled in the Microsoft Store, correct?

I don’t even know if you can disable that, at least not officially
