tome10 Posted May 23, 2018 Share Posted May 23, 2018 How do you build this from scratch? Full disclosure, I'm not much of a shape drawer. How is the shading of the blades done? It seems they selected the white portion around the blades and did a Gaussian Blur; maybe.. Is there any way to change the color of this to a custom color leaving the Gaussian blur in tact? tome10 Posted May 29, 2018 Author Share Posted May 29, 2018 There is a nice golden fan in that thread that looks like it's slowly rotating. I tried making it into a rotating gif, but it didn't work. If you're off-center by 1 pixel, you'll get that 'glitchy' look. Why don't you make the jet turbine from Welshy's tutorial?
