  1. Thank you Seerose, Red and Drew, I love making them and have learned so much over the years.
  2. This is going to be interesting since Paint.net sends nothing to anywhere, lol
  3. Just posted a few new additions (top eight) for anyone interested.
  4. Don't use One Drive, put them on a Hard Drive. I have had problems with files shared on One Drive before so I bet that is your problem too.
  5. This would be easier; Use the Rectangle select tool (keyboard S) to select the area you want to keep and then under the Image tab use Crop to Selection(keyboard Control+shift+X).
  6. Not to start anything up again but the dead horse wasn't dead yet so I'll beat it some more. This week's SOTW #131 rule number 5 and 6 state; 5. You may not use any stocks outside of self-made pictures and drawings. 6. Your entry must be made using paint.net, please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. And with Max's own admission in another thread uses sculptris to make his monsters but is allowed to win? Which is it going to be?
  7. Ya , I guess I do too, lol. But is easier to remove the black with the magic wand, lol
  8. Tr how do you get the three choices you show above in this plugin? You show a linear fade, a square root fade and a square fade but none of those choices show up for me in this plugin. And yes I downloaded the latest version and it still looks like the older version.
  9. Do we really have a choice? I'm sorry but microsoft keeps forcing these windows upgrades on us when fixing what they have would be better. Windows 7 is the last good os they have made and I will hate being forced to upgrade when they discontinue it. As far as I'm concerned the windows 8 style platforms are junk and a pain in the neck.
  10. Maximillian, you can save with a transparent background in Sculptris and not have to do all of this. Click the "options" button, then in the new window uncheck the "Save with BG" option, then click the "save" button above it, pick your name, spot to save, file type and you are done.
  11. Before anyone over complicates it have you checked your mouse settings to see how many lines the scroll wheel is set to scroll per click?
  12. I will not be entering in any more comps of any kind at this forum in the future. Other than a adding a few images in my gallery or select plugins to my bag of tricks I will also not be adding any comments on any other issues. It seems that no matter what I say, it causes drama so the best medicine for that is to remain silent. If by a slim chance I win this comp please ask the runner up to pick the next theme, I am done.
  13. I have to apologize for accusing MJW of using Neoflames for the entry in SOTW because it is obvious now he used his own plugin which wasn't published at the time so I had no idea it even existed yet when I posted my complaint.
  14. Thank you everyone, glad you like them. I use many plugins to make nebulae and many layers with different blending modes. Here is one I made using three separate terragen images blended together in PDN . The haze and planet were made using PDN. Just wanted to show an image that was made using PDN as an image editor and for creation all in one. Sorry, no critters on this planet, lol
  15. When I saw his/her entry posted it was after the poll announcement but surprisingly it is before it today. The plugin was released today, a day later.
  16. MJW I do believe you are a couple days late on your entry into the SOTW #130 comp and that your image was made using this; http://29a.ch/sandbox/2011/neonflames/# That was posted by I think Goonfella a while back. I can't find the exact thread he posted it in, but I do not believe that you used the cloud effect as you stated. I have noticed that you have tried to pass off works before that were not all pdn and claim they were. Although this might work on some of the newbies, it won't work on us seasoned vets. Please be careful not to do this in the future.
  17. Thank you Red and TR, those statues were erected by the aliens in honor of you two for your plugins that open the gateway to the universe. Thank you Helen, that is one of my favorites also. Thank you Goonfella. I have only the free version of it which has it's limits so if I use any they are usually rendered with no atmosphere. It does take a lot of computer power to use though. Then I take them into pdn and touch them up or stretch them. The mountains in the statue one didn't start out that tall, I did some stretching in pdn. But now with TR's Third Dimension plugin I tend to use it more than terragen for landscapes. The last picture I added was a TR landscape with a rock texture overlay which looked pretty cool. I also started adding a few prehistoric animals in some which add a little character to the whole image. I admit that some of my pictures are not totally pdn but the majority of them are done using textures and pdn's magic. The only thing I am lacking is a good program to make space ships, I use pictures of models right now which has limits too. I'm thinking of writing a few tutes for how to make some of the things I make but first I have to try to do them in 4.5 to make sure they work. I would start with a simple planet and work my way up as I go. I kind of have a hard time with using the right words to get my points and ideas across but I am willing to give it a try if it will help some others.
  18. This is another cool one TR. Not sure if it's me or the plugin but the small section on the left is near impossible to eliminate. Any tricks? Or a glitch?
  19. Thank you and you're welcome Seerose. Sorry I haven't been in here for quite awhile to thank you sooner. Just added some more spacey ones, lol
