Hmm, the plugins that I use the most & have done for a very long time are gone. In particular Bevel Selection. Oh woe is me. I really don't know how that happened.
Anyone else?

It is a very lovely piece. Don't sell yourself short. We all have strengths in different areas & different styles too. Featherwind is beautiful & a very fitting name. Bravo!

Congratulations to all! A great theme to play with and the entries were all fabulous. A very versatile plugin too.

It looks like you would need to put each image on a new layer. There are a few plugins that might help such as soften portrait & maybe a few others like feather. Probably you would need to do some alpha masking which is something I have never done successfully. Take a look at the photomanip tutorials, see if you can find anything in those that might be useful.

@ANONYMISS & @Djisvesif the two of you go back to the very first page you will see the discussion of the rules & how they came to be. If you don't like the rules, don't enter the competition. Nit-picking is not going to help you win the competition but shows mean-spiritedness.

What a lovely outcome! Heart chains! Very clever. Now you can use the principles for other images too. Well done!

Just to clarify:
The objected to image was this.
The original (illegal) comment I posted with the image was:
"WOW. All these awesome plugins really make things easy!"Definitely a rule breaker. 😀
OMG! You cheeky thing! Yes, disqualified Definitely repost in the comedy thread or your own gallery. Fancy putting anchovies in that list I think it would be fun to have a post about what people would put on their toast. I see there is cheese & carrots, a few with jam or marmalade, tomato but nobody put vegemite!
I thought it was the mouldy old toast that was the issue.
Now we can all play nicely again ⚽

Peeps, @ardneh's entry complies with the rules of the comp. Personally, I thought it was clever & funny. Really? Anyone who has ever had kids will know the joys of finding expired food in unexpected places. Maybe that is why we know have CDs & not VCRs?
On the subject of unpublished plugins...if you have the ability to write one cool. Not everyone can use the published plugins effectively - like me So no unfair advantage as far as I can see. That being said, if you really like a plugin that someone has created, why not ask them to publish it? Some plugins so have a limited use so maybe the author feels that publishing it is of no real benefit?
Some really lovely pieces of toast here & not a single one is burnt

Edit: A simple restart fixed it 😐
Oh fabulous! If only people could have a restart. I'd be up for that!

I just love those eyebrows! I think you did a marvellous job. There are a lot of elements in this image, each one just so nice. Well done!

Oooh what a lovely image. Lots of depth & the colours are rather soothing too.

Another very useful tip that I learnt way back, was to put as much as you can on a separate layer, name layers (esp. initially) & keep a PDN file of your work as well as a flattened image file. Really great when you want to use a part of the image again later.

My edges always give me trouble and sometimes I spend too much time trying to clean them up.
The way I get crisper images is to increase the size by 400% So if my final image is to be 500 x 200 I make the original image 2000 x 800 & then when I am done I decrease to 25%. AA Assistant is great but when using 4x the size Gaussian Blur can also work for you.

Oh good on you for making a gallery. You can also add your SOTW here if you want.
The Merry Christmas one is so real that I am sure if I put my hand on a letter, it will leave my handprint on it.
Lovely works!
