  1. Sorry, those fake dollars are as worthless as Elizabeth Taylor's eighth marriage. Ironically, the fire is set on either Glow or Overlay with opacity set around 146. Hmm.....
  2. Personally, GIMP has potential. But, it doesn't work well in Windows XP or Vista (if you have the latter) because of its floating windows. It is more geared for Linux-based OS, like Ubuntu Linux (which I had once used and really liked), unless you have a dual-boot OS on your 'puter.
  3. Based on the survey of 3 people thus far, the 1st version have the "ayes." All righty, folks, thank you very much for taking part of Storm.Shadow's Unofficial Survey. You will receive $1,000 fake dollars in the mail this week. I am almost at the finish line, folk. A wise word from one of my former boss, "Consider the turtle...it cannot make any progress until it sticks its neck out."
  4. *bumps* After a lot of thoughts and sweats, I decided to hammer out two different versions of the Wings&Sword pic. As you might had noticed, the sword is absent, but don't fret or scream, "What are you thinking, Stormy?!?" I will work on the sword. I may have to work on it in a separate image file. With both having a fiery background as Minoeman have suggested, I experimented with a method of having a duplicate background layer with one catch, the flame is applied in the same seal as the lightning is. Comments, folks? *cues music*
  5. There oughta be a law against people stealing words outta your mouth. Though that would be extremely difficult to enforce.
  6. Perhaps this tutorital will give you some aid in working on the helmet for Robocop. That's the basis I used in my Storm Mask.
  7. That's an nice piece of avatar/sig combo there. I like how the dreamy touch really ties the image together.
  8. Just a maybe? Whatever you say, my dear friend.
  9. My eyes just can't take it anymore...Oma, your work is so :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: Work of genius in overtime! *goes to makes appointment with eye doctor to put my eyeballs back into their sockets*
  10. Beware of GIMP. It is like a quicksand....I think. I used it once and never liked it. It's more for Linux than Windows. Your nova work looks great!
  11. I don't have anything to say. Good job A suggestion what i would put in the background is: Fire *mulls* Hmm....fiery background.... *muttering to himself* Well, that's an interesting idea. Stole the words right from my mouth.... Coat of arms???? Now, there's an interesting idea. Minoeman, don't you hate it when people steal the words from your mouth?
  12. *faints* Oma, you got some serious talent. I think I said it once, but I'll say it again. *grabs oxygen mask and breathe* Seriously, your heart/gem necklace is a genius! The postcard from India....brilliant! *hyperventilates* *faints again*
  13. Glad you have a good laugh when I write. I didn't think I was a comedian, but I'll keep my day job. I would like to see you make a larger version of the molecules. I sense that you are thinking about it.
  14. Ohhh! You used Shape 3D for the helmet? I usually just the line tool to make the curve and gradients. Take a look at my mask in my gallery and you'll see what I mean.
  15. Not keen on Smurfs? Smurfs are so...smurfy. It's not so much the smurfs as Father Abraham ... I never thought it was natural a grown man hanging around with those lil' blue things  He's the wisest of them all.
  16. Err...I can't find the right word to describe what I think of it. I don't like the top portion of the helmet...I wouldn't be surprised if Robocop Beta had a magriane from wearing it all day. He'll need a horse-sized pill to swallow.
  17. - Helen, I like your attempt, but I was turned off by the reflection on the right side of the len. I used....Expiration's tut (I think) to make the lightning lens. And the sword still look like bloody potato, but I realize you copied/pasted my artwork into your PDN program and messed with it. - Goonie, you are right the lightning looked out of place. Be patient, my fellow PDNers, I will be working on this particular project. At the moment, I am at my in-laws, they don't have PDN, and I didn't bring my flash disk. Thanks...I will be working on the sword. I had been giving it some thought, and maybe to make it easier, I would make the sword in a separate image, copy the "final" piece (while making sure I can undo the flatten) into the image, and bam, I will have a masterpiece. I hope.... I haven't had a  from anybody yet, but I know it's coming.
  18. I'm not sure what that has to do with the pic. Would you care to elaborate some more?
  19. Not keen on Smurfs? Smurfs are so...smurfy.
  20. Either way it goes, that's an awesome looking graphic there, Goonie.
  21. Nice job with the molecules. It's interesting, when I first started using PDN, one of my first ideas was to make a complicated molecules structure, but it accidentally warped into ladybug. I squashed the ladybug PDN file afterward.
  22. *shudders* I hated having the flu. Glad to hear you're up and about, and creating another awesome art. The Murphys seem to be having the time of their lives till that darn cat climbed up the tree.
  23. Just wanted to say I had always liked your current sig. So slick and cool. The soda cans you made looks weird. The top portion needs some kind of inner bevel and the pop-tab could be angled somehow.
  24. Looks almost like PS3 console. Cool.
  25. Looks great, man! I love how the blur text makes it looks like it's moving, but it's not. Nice to see you are still up and about in these forum. You, Ash, Expiration, Oma, Goonie, Helen, and Welshblue are part of the reasons I joined PDN. I am enjoying this program very much.
