  1. Seeing as it's been a year, I felt it fitting to post here. I take some comfort in it. You were amazing Code_Ember wherever you are, remember you will be eternally missed. RIP Code_Ember
  2. Great tutorial as expected, flip, great work again! Yeah, so here's my result: That's my name, by the way. If you didn't already know. Thanks again for the tutorial.
  3. I agree with LJXD, you should definitely make a tutorial on that red grunge one. Love the gallery, flip. Love the smallpapers, especially the third one.
  4. I don't think he'll particularly want to tell you after you insulted him like that, he's a great artist and if you think you're better prove it!
  5. Here it is. This is the first time I've entered a Paint.NET competition.
  6. Sorry to doublepost, but I need to know, are the avatar thumbnails showing up for anyone?
  7. Thanks a lot, guys, visit my gallery for the thumbnail update!
  8. Hi, I was wondering how I would go about making, first of all, thumbnails in my gallery. I upload to flickr by the way. Second of all, I was wondering how to make all the thumbnails the same size and how to align them side by side. Thanks a lot.
  9. I think that's just because it's a low quality picture.
  10. I hope this is what you mean: 1. Use the Rounded Rectangle Tool to draw the Rounded Rectangle (obviously) 2. Use Boltbait's Bevel Plugin 3. Use Outline Object 4. Then use Drop Shadow with a fairly high Blur Radius. Hope this solves your problem, this is quite brief but I hope this helps.
  11. You mean like this: Or this: Either that or just do what flip said, just search Google.
  12. Interesting result. But I would say this tutorial is far too easy.
  13. Awesome tutorial, keep up the good work!
  14. Great plugin! Love the results. Oma, in your signature the first center tag is visible.
  15. I don't think there is a text box feature in Paint.NET, although there is an Editable Text Plugin which allows you to change the text after you have first put it on the canvas on a new layer. There isn't a plugin for this but it is possible. Type your text all in one bright colour, e.g. red. Then use Hue/Saturation to adjust each letter to your liking. Don't think this is possible. Buy that then.
  16. Are all of the pictures 100% PdN? , if so, I'm impressed!
  17. Absolutely love this tutorial! Will put up my result soon. Overall great tutorial and you are the first subject of my new tutorial commenting system. So here goes: How well written it is: 9/10 How easy it is to understand: 8/10 How good the result is: 8.5/10 Overall rating: 9/10
  18. You didn't make the cow then? I'm going to have to rerate in that case: 4/10, sorry I don't but try looking here. PdN always is.
  19. Just something I threw together using your cow picture, perhaps it's an improvement?
  20. Compliments mean a lot to me, especially from such a great artist as yourself.
  21. The first one: Love it! Good effects and good use of the Smudge plugin. 8/10 The second one: Yeah, it's good but basic. 6/10 The third one: I like it, but I don't love it, seems pretty basic to me. Maybe some other effects added would help. 7/10 The fourth one: I'm not such a fan of this one but it's OK. 6/10 The fifth one: Yeah, again too basic for me. 5/10 The sixth one: Good one! Did you create the lens flares yourself? If you did 8/10, if not 7/10. The seventh one: I like it. Good colour scheme, they all match up. 6.5/10 The eighth one: A bit random, but whatever. 5/10 The ninth one: Basic but well done. Good extraction of the eagle. 7/10 The tenth one: Nice! Good effects. 7.25/10 The eleventh one: Did you make the hamster yourself? Good one though, made me giggle, your others are better though. 6/10 The twelfth one: Quite weird but again good colours. 7/10 The thirteenth one: The cow is hilarious, makes me laugh too! 8/10 The fourteenth one: I can definitely tell that was made on a sugar high, funny though. 7.9/10 The fifteenth one: Nice cat! Basic though, try adding a background and some effects. 6/10 The sixteenth one: For your first picture, it's good, I suppose. Compared to your stuff now though, 3/10, sorry That took a while but I hope you take my comments on board. Thanks for that laugh... Moochos gracias! Hilarious!
