Here again with something that is probably simple for you guys but very difficult for a numbskull like me. I have an image http://i42.tinypic.com/2hoe3qu.jpg from my forum http://tbandyou.blogspot.com/ that I would like to change to match the colors of my website http://www.knowingabout.co.uk/tbandu/aboutme.html not sure whether the dark or light orange color. The image is basically the light blueish background of forum My problem is the image is so small and I dont know how to change it. Your help would be greatly appreciated

Ok still stuck with same problem be interested in any ideas. I have used magic wand "ctrl+a+del" to remove background and saved in four different formats on one page: bmp gif, jpg and bmp as you can see http://captainclawgame.blogspot.com/ not all get rid of background which is what i want be writing is unable to flow around image. Also have to find out how to rid border but background problem more iimportant Before I begin forum i would like to sort this problem out, Cheers in advacne

I have saved image as jpg and png after making background of picture transparent but result still the same, background F3f3f3 after uploading. It has taken me ages to sort out website so it in someways resembles forum. I now decide I am not happy with colours, (I have asked visitors and they state a bit too dark). No problem except for graphics. About 12 forum graphics have been used on website. Example I have spent yesterday trying to change graphics have spent this morning looking thro Paint.net tutorial and cant find what I need. I would like to change to something similar to background of say where smilies are on this page. A light pale colour with a hint of blue or pink or something, not sure but anyway just a hint rather than the full color at present. Then i would be able to change style sheet and have a better presented site. i hope there wont be too many steps as about 12 for website and 20 odd graphics for forum would need to be worked on. any help would be gratefully appreciated

I need advice on ideas to make a logo for my forum BEST in HULME http://knowingabout.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl. At the moment I am using a swf file but this is quite large. I would like to incorporate the attached file of Hulme Arch (local landmark) and the words "BEST IN HULME" in the middle of the arch but my efforts so far look even worse than at present. Also when i use the magic wand, (the only tool at present i know how to use) to remove the sky and leave the background transparent, after saving the background is white. all ideas welcome. thx in advance

Thanks for telling me to edit post. (Hope new title is okay) As for plugin dont think im ready for that level yet! Can put text on picture but cant even figure out how to move it! My learning curve with paintnet at present is VERY SLOW. But have learnt stuff today thanks to you all
