  1. I'm loving that ornate belt, ptuZ. Great detailing, and good colour choices.

That logo is great! Not sure how swords are related to that, though. Then again, I come from a country where such practices are uncommon I haven't heard that song, but great work with the LP. Text is very good.
  3. Neat wallpaper! It has a 3D feel to it.
  4. *shh* I'm not really allowed to serve beer. Oh, and like I said in the pixel Umbrella: A cookie to anyone who correctly guesses what the gallery icon represents. What do you think of this web design layout: EDIT: Okay I got a super idea, I just had to: My laptop screen isn't particularly bright, so please tell if it's too dark/light or it has too much/little contrast. lovely man stock by http://vishstudio.deviantart.com milk splatter stock by http://h-d-stock.deviantart.com c4D by http://redfoxgfx.deviantart.com glass texture (used in the background)by unknown raindrop stock (used in the background)by unknown If this counts as inappropriate content, please let me know. I'll delete it.
  5. Oh, thanks! Wow, I haven't updated this in a while. You should all know that I no longer do signatures. If there's a sig of which you would like a tutorial, PM me or post in this thread! I'll post the instructions here. I'll keep doing pixel art, though.
  6. Oh wow, Cellus. I'd forgotten him entirely. Here are some icons, all 16*16: Drawn by hand, except for the gradient in them. A cookie to the person who guesses what the gallery icon represents. EDIT: The answer is on my deviantART account.
  7. Oh no, it's not your fault. Sometimes we just miss things. I did the lighting in Shape3D, then added subtle edits to it. Thank you for the comment.
  8. Hmm, I wonder why my post on top of this page has an image in it. Hmm, well I most certainly didn't post it to get critique, so I'm delighted to notice no one has commented on it. /bitter *sigh* Honestly, guys, it's not that hard to spare a few words. Jerkfight: Nice clouds, I suggest you go with what pyro said though. Falken: That's awesome, great negative space there. Might be too much for some people.
  9. pdnnoob: Yellowman is wrong, you've stopped being a noob ages ago. This spacescape is no exception, the planets are smooth, the nebula is interesting and the starfield is nice. Great job! possum: Nice marble table, the background is nice too. It has 3-D feel to it. That dragon is looking nice, too. The scales are looking good, though I'd used them on a smaller scale. PtuZ, that is a really nice grass texture. Perhaps you could add some variation to the colours?
  10. Thanks, pipp <: Though, it never hurts to get inspiration.
  11. New one in my sigspace. I'm just trying out something for my next piece here, but I liked the outcome.
  12. Thanks pdnnoob. Unlike magicians, I share my secrets. So here's how I made the glass part: I filled a layer with white (or 50% gray). Used Shape3D, cylinder with a round top. After fiddling with size and stuff, I checked the "transparency" checkbox and messed with that a little. Changed Anti-Alias level to 5. Then I used Distort/Bulge. This was the hardest part, because it was hard to make it look like a real light bulb. After I put the light source in, I unselected all but the glass layers, used Apply Image* and put it on top of the light source and changed the blending mode to overlay. I think I could've done better with the shadows, for example there should be a shadow underneath the gass part as well. *= Flatten, Select All, Copy, Undo 'til layers are back, New Layer, Paste.
  13. @top of the page: Your smudging needs work pipp. I like the colours though.
  14. Nice job with the teacup, Goon. I can almost smell the scent of tea drifting by... pTuZ, great graffiti. The second one has great texture, too. Nice job. Here's my MRC entry:
  15. Thanks, I'll be honest and say I thought of adding a reflection after your piece. It's amazing! It's really realistic. I'm still not quite sure about my blurring, but I'm hoping people will like it.
  16. *bumps* Sorry for my inactivity for the past 2 months or so.
  17. Does the original image have to be 150 by 150 pixel, too?
  18. You should try to soften the textures, you know. The colours are a little tough on the eye. Should I darken its face?
  19. I'm working on a smudge tutorial, actually. PM me if you're interested in Part I. E: Pyro, Smudge is awesome, it's one of the most refined plugins on this forum.
