Heh, its ok Helen. You should make notes of the tips you get, on notepad or something, and build up a collection. That way you'll never have to trudge around the forum looking for tips given to you.

La Galleria de LFC - Wooden PDN Type - 28/05/09

Ding ding ding! welshblue gets it correct. Nadal had won 5 grand slams (now 6 ) at the time of creation, hence the 5 underscores. Federer had won 13, hence the 13 underscores. If Federer had won, he would won 14, equalling Pete Sampras' record. Your cookies, sir. -

Need help recoloring smooth border

Duplicate the layer with the white outline, the use the eraser to rub out the background around it. Then you can use the curves method. -

Ok, well i've got a few request, and i've searched, and checked the Popular Feature Requests, and i haven't found anything, so here goes: Brush Width: The max brush width right now is 500px. I think a higher value such as 2000 or 2500 would be better, as when working at a high res, say 2500 x 4000 for example, to make a planet or something its harder to use the ellipse tool to make a large circle at an accurate size. It'll probably have other uses too, yet to be discovered. Fill Modes: When setting a fill mode for a tool, for example the rectangle tool, the same fill mode is set for other tool where the fill mode is relevant, such as the line tool, fill tool and text tool. I find this quite annoying, as when filling the background with say, the trellis fill mode, and then inserting text, i have to set the fill mode to solid colour to write the text so it is clear. I know its only a few steps, but it would be much easier if the fill modes weren't set for every relevant tool. Snap: It'd be cool if a snap feature was available, like in Photoshop, and MS office 07, it'd make aligning and selecting stuff much easier. Select & Merge Multiple Layers: It'd be cool if you could select multiple layers and merge them together. Sort of like a Flatten Image, but only for the selected layers. I don't know if any of these requests are code-able for PDN; i hope they are. Thanks.

Seamless Grass Texture tutorial needed
LFC4EVER replied to Urnemanden's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Make your grass texture, then use panelling plugin to bring the outside to the inside. So if you have a 256x256 canvas, use panelling plugin at: Horizontal - 128 and Vertical - 128. Then clone-stamp the clear edges, to make then disappear, and you have a seamless texture! -

Amazing. Awesome. Astonishing. I'm curious to know how you did the perfect fade from 2px line tool width, to 1px, in the right part of her hair, near her sunglasses. With only line tool that is. I can do it with :AlphaChannel: gradient, but its tough without. :? Thank man, i'm working on re-doing it; i'll keep that in mind. Nice sigs you've got there, some pretty neat effects. Some have inspired me. -
