  1. To start off, let me just say that you've got an interesting background there. I've never seen anything like it (in a good way of course  ) Anyways, I agree with meow that the sign shouldn't be so transparent, but since it's already flattened you can't really do much about it other than creating a new rectangle above it and try again. I also notice jagged gray things coming out from the sides and bottom of your sign, as if you had usedthe magic wand there or something. Other than that, it's a nice shot for a person new to PdN

  3. Oh man... nearly two months since my last update? Yeah, I had a mesh of SAT-extracurricular-finals activities going on for the last two months. I've just been overworked. I'm still busy these days, with summer enrichment classes starting I've actually been looking at everyone's galleries for quite a while, and instead of just awkwardly responding to every gallery I just thought I should say that there's been a lot of good stuff going on recently. It's a pity I don't have enough time to think of any in-depth critiques, but I'm definitely going to get around to commenting on people's stuff again soon  Anyways, here's one new piece. It actually has me in writer's (or should I say artist's) block right now... Read the Full Description to understand why I'm confused at the moment.. I've also brightened up Medusa Cascade Anyways, until the next time I think of something Ciaou 8)

  5. @welshblue, storm.shadow, HELEN, and Yellowman--Thanks I sorta intended the "water" to be a hilly moon textured ground :? However, it's interesting to note that it could be thought of as water. Or perhaps people think its water because it's titled "cascade"? (The Medusa Cascade in Doctor Who doesn't have anything to do with water ) It's open to interpretation. Just wanted you guys to know that
  6. Funky galaxy there Made me think of an alien spaceship trying to camouflage BTW I like your sig. Jellyfish are cool 8)
  7. Ah I've been gone for such a long time...in general I'll just say that you're work is still great. I especially like that dolphin piece you made. Its lighting and shading were perfect, and the little surface reflection (don't know what to call it) on the dolphin was a nice touch, one that I haven't seen done before Did you have a photo reference? Also like your most recent piece. Quite humorous to see a hippo like that However, with water splashing around like that, and being only on a little plank...how's he gonna get back to land? Nice job
  8. Oma, as I commented on your dA page, great work Shading was quite good, and the hand covering her face was a nice touch
  9. Long Time No Post!! I missed you guys I've been undergoing SAT reviews and Driver's Ed classes, plus other extracurricular responsibilities. I've been sub-conscious of the events going on here, such as a slight spam attack, but I've been really inactive. With the SAT over, I've got a little free time, but I'm going to start term papers in a week or so. Let's just see how long I can stay active this time Anyways, to the update: Read the description on the page. This might be the last space art thing I make for a few months (until maybe June, when the school year ends and I can clearly brainstorm ideas). so it's quite fitting that it's a composition of planets I've made so far (as well as some other planets made from scratch). It might seem rather small to see all the details, but downloading the full size gives you a 1013x846 image. Which I think is the strangest dimensions I've set for an image so far Enjoy! COmment if you like
  10. Ok then, then I decide on making next SOTW's theme tech, just to spice things up ...Now the thing is, who's gonna make the next one? Not sure if Mike Ryan is keeping tabs on this anymore. I would make it, certainly, but I think my schedule would get in the way of voting and other things in terms of time. Any volunteers?
  11. Ah, the good old days when I used to make abstracts. I should really get around to making more.. Thanks messedwithyahead Oh yeah, thought I'd mention, new banner on the first page of my gallery. Reflects my current image more accurately
  12. @Storm.Shaodw+LFC==Sorry for the late response, but thanks I appreciate it ____________________ Wow. I've been gone for about a month  Sorry about such the long delay. I've just been bogged lately. In a nutshell, just check my deviantArt journal to see what I've been up to.... Anyways, a new WIP to show I'm still alive I only had three classes today (which is an extremely rare case), so what better to do than make something with PdN? Click and read the info Planning on using this in an upcoming comic, but it'd make a nice stand-alone piece as well. Might be another two weeks or so until next update. I might still be around to answer comments though. Enjoy!
  13. Well.... I had a good topic, but now I've got three. I'm sorta stuck between "Duality", "Technology", and "Science". Kinda leaning towards science because its my favorite subject. But I'm still thinking. I'll reply again when I make up my mind
  14. Pepper and Salt. When I first saw that, those two shakers from Blues Clues came to mind Anyways, I really like those shakers D'ya use a tut or was it a photo reference? Or was it straight from memory? Regardless, Nice job! I like the vexell-y style you've been developing in your work over the past weeks (months? I've lost track XD). Can't wait to see more
  15. Thanks For some strange reason, I'm in a very cartoon-y mood. I might make more
  16. Another late submission by me. Got sick with a stomach bug (yeah...why me..) ___________________ @Welshblue---thanks I really like that wallpaper. I use it for my cell phone too ____________________________ I'm starting to slow down with my creations, mainly because I'm running out of ideas and because I don't have a lot of time these days. As a Junior in high school, I have colleges to worry about, SATs to study for, and Driver's Ed to... accomplish. Don't worry, thaat doesn't mean I'm stopping completely. I'm just going to have submissions spread out over a longer period of time. I still have a space scene to finish...... ____________________________ Anyways, New stuff ^^Clicky for full size^^ Yes, that really did happen. and that background is a pretty good remake of the Yearbook Office I work in. Read more on the deviantart page for the full story. Quite comical XD Enjoy!
  17. If anyone's interested, I've got an idea for the next SotW theme.... Just waiting on any official words of this contest being over.
  18. @Pipp92---I'd also suggest lowering the opacity of the smudge area. Then it'd look like a motion blur dash. But, then again, it's only my perspective on things. An American Wallpaper. Full Size 1680x1050
  19. @Helen and LFC4EVER---Thanks I plan on making lots of other small comics soon  _______________________________ It's Presidents' Day here in the US. Just a little patriotic wallpaper to add to the mood. Enjoy! Full Size 1680x1050 ^^Clicky^^
  20. Cute teddy bear Love that balloon too. Nice job!
  21. Oma created a tut for making hearts a few days ago. It's fairly simple too  viewtopic.php?f=34&t=28826
  22. Nice roses! Did you have a photo reference? Also, I like your sig. I wished there was an easier way to make heart shapes besides stock outlining or freehanding lines. I can't freehand lines that well...
  23. Thanks I thought it would be a good "twist" to make the corners more aesthetically appealing
  24. Lot's of cool stuff happening here. Too many to name My little piece:
