hmmmm, as far as i no thers not a great way to do this, your best bet would probably be to use the magic wand tool and click change it to global, this will make the magic wand select every pixel of the color you click on, for instance if you click on a red pixel on the map every red pixel will be high lighted, then click control x, this will cut out the selected pixels, create a new layer and paste it, do that for every color. i tried to simplify the sig i made ^^^^, i came up with this, leme no wat you think, i think it looks kinda cool, it might need some added or taken away leme know, trying to get a new sig

thats the easy part, just move the wine layer under the glass layer so it looks like its inside the glass, i think i just used a few layer gradients and the transparent colors to create the actual wine are you telling me im not a master *goes back in his corner*

You could name your layers as you go along, relieving some of this confusion. It will help you to recognise your layers much quicker when switching back and forth, which, apart from cutting confusion, will save time also. And make your Layers window look oh-so pretty . Name one person who isn't... although this does help, most of the time when i mess up a layer its not because i didnt know what layer i wanted to work on, its because i either clicked on the wrong layer or some how messed things up lol. i think this would be a cool feature
