heres a cover im doing for my friends music class, she asked for some help, the theme is peace and inclusion through music, everything is pdn, i drew everything but the text, any suggestions? i dont want to over do it because its a cover. edit: fixed

do you mean like a perspective thing? or a grid?

thats really just gradients, then wat ever text that is, id suggest finding the text first.

That was the effect I was going for. I know wither just explained how to do it in basic terms, but does any want a tutorial for my method...It is a little easier than wither's...it involves only one layer. wow i thought it was a photo too lol, sorry i should have asked before i used it, i didnt realize it was yours, i thought you just googled it or something. :oops: p:s: is it okay if i use it? :oops:

Need a tut for that....well all of the techniques you did!!! looking good, not as easy thing to draw , ^^marcus, tut wise theres not a ton he could probably teach, the camo pattern could probably get a tut, but everything else if you break it down is easy, its pulling it all together thats the hard part. Good Job! and welcome! i havent posted much in the pictorium lately, i did this little cartoon the other day making fun of a friend lol, i thought id share it. you gotta think about it to understand it

maybe if you wrote a list or something of specifics we could help more, i think we understand where youre coming from but need to no more specifics in order to help you in a manner that will actually be helpful.

a lot of the things i do are more art related, meaning they teach more about art then specifically about 'how to do...on pdn'. when i think of all the art classes ive been in, they all teach technique, and not if you click this effect and then do this you get this. ^^although i think this is helpful, i feel to really get good at art, and get good with pdn there are things you need to learn first. this is really just my opinion, if you guys got this going id love to help and make some more, techniques tuts, for instance 'the basics of art(on pDN)'. iono if im making sense. but im trying lol

well, i made a hasty attempt at my drawing, sorry bout the disappointment guys, its displays some of my talents but its not exactly a piece id hang on my fridge. also, as some of you may have noticed, this week i tried to rewrite the rules, to simplify them and avoid confusion. what do you guys think? are the rules clear now?

ah, thats a really good idea oma, i never really thought of that, i might try that out, i have a tool i use while sketching on paper, thats basically a piece of lead and steel that bends and i can form it into just about any shape, not really sure why that reminded me of that but it did.

well guys, unfortunately i didnt have much time to work on this piece. but im actually pretty happy with the results, ther are some lines i would like to clean up and some details id like to add but im gona call it done because i dont really have any time to work on it now. i hope you guys enjoy the piece, it was created after the movie 'night of the museum'.
