  1. Sounds like you have an existing paint.net installation that has become broken. Please use this utility to remove the broken installation: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed Afterwards, you should be able to install paint.net anew.
  2. The large text also doesn't work well when browsing the forum on small screen devices, i.e. smartphones. I'm not too concerned about the large signature, since it's displayed at the appropriate size. The file itself is only 55kb. No big deal.
  3. I just opened your PNG file in 6 different programs without issue.
  4. Paint.NET asked you if you wanted to share an image? I find that hard to believe. or was that just a typo of save? In the save prompt, Paint.NET shows you thumbnails of all unsaved images. Perhaps you just noticed the first one, but not the others. If you didn't save your image to disk, then it was cleared from memory and doesn't exist anymore.
  5. No. That just gives them an excuse to not fix the bug in Teams. Microsoft just needs to place the proper formats on the clipboard.
  6. @TechnoRobbo has "retired" from this forum, but he gave us permission to maintain his plugins. So instead of an image, it would just be a blob of color? Please explain. That's already a feature: 'Constrain to Selection' Yes, that would be possible.
  7. Try the offline installer: https://github.com/paintdotnet/release/releases
  8. Here a good place to start: Boot into Windows Safe Mode, and see if the issue occurs. This will rule out any third-party software that might be interfering with Paint.NET.
  9. What didn't work? I mentioned two things to do. Did you actually check that your graphics driver is up-to-date?
  10. You are using a very old version of paint.net, and you must update to the most recent version. Settings -> Updates -> Check Now Please ensure your graphics drivers are up-to-date.
  11. Try running the MSI with verbose logging. It will probably tell you why it's failing. msiexec /i paint.net.4.3.11.winmsi.x64.msi /L*V %UserProfile%\Desktop\pdn.log
  12. It will be, if you take the time to troubleshoot the issue on your end. Our guesses can only get you so far.
  13. Looks like you're missing a file. You should re-install paint.net.
  14. I saw those ones already. I meant a screenshot of the Plugin Errors.
  15. Please post a screenshot that shows the DLL files within the Effects folder.
  16. Which anti-virus were you using? and what was it blocking specifically?
  17. Version 1.7.0.4 posted. - Fixes the issues with opening the PDF help file. - Importing and Exporting is now significantly faster.
  18. So apply the Gaussian Blur effect. https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/EffectsBlursMenu.html#6
  19. ShadowPlay is now labeled as "In-game Overlay" in the Nvidia configuration. Maybe the "ShadowPlay" branding has been phased-out; I'm not sure. It may look like this:
  20. Please disable Nvidia ShadowPlay, and then see if the crashing persists.
  21. I'm not very familiar with Paint Shop Pro, so please confirm... You're referring to this? https://kb.corel.com/en/127234
