  1. Didn't you ask this same question like 8 years ago? https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/30122-no-preview-window/
  2. Your web browser is simply telling you that MadJik's website does not use HTTPS, and therefore the connection does not use encryption. This is why the warning uses the word "Potential"; It's possible someone (like your ISP) could tamper with the unencrypted connection, but it's extremely unlikely.
  3. Due to the rise of HiDPI on Android many years ago, Google has long recommended against using bitmap/raster images for your UI. You should convert your icons to vector images. https://developer.android.com/develop/ui/views/graphics/vector-drawable-resources
  4. IrfanView has the ability to watermark images in batch.
  5. So what happens when you attempt to open a HEIC image? Do you see an error message?
  6. You want to ingest an entire video file into paint.net, just to get a single frame? 😲 Seems easier to just take a Snapshot from your media player, and then load that image into paint.net.
  7. This is a very unsupported system. I'm not surprised you're having issues. You're running Windows 7 on hardware that doesn't even have drivers for Windows 7. At the bear minimum, you have no Ryzen chipset drivers and no Radeon GPU drivers. I wonder what other hardware components are not operating correctly.
  8. @StudioLoading, Please post the diagnostic information found within paint.net. Settings -> Diagnostics -> Copy to clipboard.
  9. @NobodyInteresting Sounds like you have an existing paint.net installation that has become broken. Please use this utility to remove the broken installation: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed Afterwards, you should be able to install paint.net anew.
  10. Depending on your scenario, you may just want to use the Text tool in Overwrite mode. (excuse the ancient screenshot)
  11. If you're using an old-school Hard Drive as primary storage, that's your problem. To put it into perspective for you, a typical Hard Drive will do a sequential read at around 200 MB/s Compare that to a modern Solid State Drive, which can do the same sequential read at speeds greater that 7,000 MB/s. Those numbers are not typos. So, a performance increase of more than 35x. No one said a brand new computer is needed. Even an upgrade to a cheap/slow ($25) SATA based SSD would be a "night and day" difference.
  12. @B Mandal, Please post the diagnostic information found within paint.net. Settings -> Diagnostics -> Copy to clipboard.
  13. Do you have any extra security/anti-virus software that might be interfering?
  14. There's something wrong with your installation of Windows. In your error messages, it says it can't load system components, like comctl32.dll and dwrite.dll. You should run the System File Checker that's built into Windows. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/using-system-file-checker-in-windows-365e0031-36b1-6031-f804-8fd86e0ef4ca
  15. Please post the diagnostic information found within paint.net. Settings -> Diagnostics -> Copy to clipboard.
  16. Your initial error message mentioned MSVC. https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/VC_redist.x64.exe Please make sure that is installed before you run the offline installer for paint.net.
  17. Looks like you have modern versions of TLS disabled in Windows. Please try using the offline installer. https://github.com/paintdotnet/release/releases
  18. Hi @Sh4d0wCrafter Don't reply to these ancient discussions. Please create a new Topic to describe your issue in detail. Locked.
  19. Hi, you can read why it appears nothing is happening here: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/RotateZoom.html
  20. What happens when you try to download it?
  21. Most consumer printers don't have white ink, and when a printer does support white ink, it's crazy expensive. I suggest going to a local print shop; it would be cheaper.
