  1. @ Raven : And if other softs have the possibility then no problem for them to match with PDN keys.
  2. Thanks... I used a lot of effects for this one. Without the zoom blur.
  3. Ok it winter time (France) but it isn't necessary to have a cold/black/iced sig... so
  4. In PDN you could right click where you want. The farest you are from the selection and the smoothest is the rotation. Also while you click you could use the cursor key you move/rotate one pixel at a time !
  5. Try the bulge effect on this one!!! -200
  6. I think the closest to the psp tubes is the Rectangle to Polar plugin. Sphere plugin also is approching (if we could adapt it to have cylinder effect... )
  7. Ok so few pictures... (Sorry it is a sad B/W picture I wanted to get better adding a smile. I can't show the whole face.) I have selected the 2/5 most left parts of the smile. Copy/paste in a new layer. I have selected the 2/5 most right parts of the smile. Copy/paste in a new layer. I have turned the right parts of the smile. Then I'm turning the left parts. Feature each layer. Done ! (not really in this sample... need more blur on the edge. I did it quickly for the screen shot) For fun you could also enlarge the parts by dragging the selection circles. But it depends you image. It could give bad result... Also you could try to copy the mouth in a new image and use the bulge or sphere effect...
  8. I had this problem recently. I haven't find any easy distort effect for that. The way I solved it is : I divided the mouth in five parts (roughly). The part in the middle is fix. I Selected with the lasso tool and copied/pasted the two left parts in a new layer. I Selected with the lasso tool and I copied/pasted the two right parts in a new layer. Ctrl+A on each layer and with the move tool I rotate/move the part of the smile with Right/Left Click and drag. Last I used the feature plugin before flattening... It is a patience work!
  9. EDIT: this time without Zoom blur I also used Sphere Effect for this one Let's go to the disco :?: :?: :?: ...
  10. Ctrl+A : Select all the picture in the active layer. But Ctrl+D is to select nothing. It is better for the layer modification you want.
  11. @ Ed. Thanks for that plugin. Also thanks for the distort effect you created. Could you add a link as well to the distort effect on this topic? The ohter link isn't easy to find! About distort effect I use often the sphere and I wounder if you could adapt it (or add a new one) to make like cylinder. If not I would try myself but then could you provide the source code?
  12. I've tried again and it isn't clear how to do ! Yes the clouds layer is Negation and the clouds effect mode is difference. But it seems to work also in reverse. The result depends on how many time you use the clouds effect... I have to inverse the color some time before Flattening some time after. I manage to have the edge and the middle of the letter near white before I change the RGB values. Adjusting the brightness/contrast is a method to reduce the flame outside the text. But also it is strongly depending on the clouds image. You could take this part as optionnal and/or try to find the values for your image. At the beginning I suggest to use a wave effect with the blur on the text. It's "breaking" the lines for a better rendering. I hope it's help...
  13. Try again using for the clouds a smaller scale and/or higher roughness...
  14. A tutorial for chrome effect here: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?p=18170#18170
  15. Some more explanation about "starisation" with the Polygone Effect: Let's start with a simple one : Vertice = 7 / Stars = 1. When drawing the polygone the line simply goes from point 0 (not shown, sorry) to point 1 to point 2 etc... If then we change stars to 2: The line will skip one point. The line goes from point 0 to point 2 to point 4 etc... Then we have crossing lines that are drawing a star. If then we change stars to 3: The line will skip two points. The line goes from point 0 to point 3 to point 6 etc... Then the star looks fine. If then we change stars to 4: The line will skip three points. The line goes from point 0 to point 4 to point 1 etc... Then the star looks exactly as the previous one (stars=3) but it is drawn the other way. If then we change stars to 5 then the star should look as stars=2 but it is drawn the other way. If then we change stars to 6 then the star should look as stars=1 but it is drawn the other way. And finaly if we set stars to 7 then all lines are going from point 0 to point 0 so we have a spot. To have some kind of stickers you should draw a star with a lot of vertices like this example (vertice=29 stars=9) With the magic wand select outside the star and invert the selection by Ctrl+I then use the gradient effect to fill it.
  16. So then Shift+Click on transparent and Ctrl+I to invert the selection : Copy/paste image without transparent pixels...
  17. I was suspecting something like that
  18. @ BarkBark00: Even better !!! Great! (but why Brad and not Bark )
  19. @ Trickman: I asked for help for GUI : result near none ! I tried to adapt sources, I found standard GUI with one, two or three sliders. That's what I used for Polygones. I could give my source as well if you want to adapt it, I will look forward to see what you'll change to make it "less stupid" ! @ boilbait: Thanks for your answer!
  20. This picture has been made using the Polygones.dll here is the Polygones.DLL EDIT: here is the Polygones sources __________________________ Also, I have made some changes to fix bugs on the ThetaCurves.DLL here is the DLL here is the source Bugs fixed: Missing dot in some curves making the fill effect useless... Tiling is now working. Advice is to use the Dot mode (Line mode takes too long time) Since Paint.net V3.0 the error for small pictures seams self corrected! Known Bugs: Preview isn't shown perfectly... ==> to BoltBait : Could you change the topic title (Codelab + Plugin...)?
  21. Can you try to add a hand to Gandalf with the dice on it?
  22. This is what I get: I suggest you to do the step 3 before step 2.a you'll see the effect on the text. Also we need Adjustment/Curves - RGB and reduce separetly blue / green curves to obtain fire color... BTW nice effect!!!
