  2. Can't find a name for that... Kinda "frozen sea wave" :?:
  3. à Bob: You set windows language to English... but it is a French version ! Date : mardi 5 décembre... (just funny!)...
  4. ...what's the way I did my example... Sorry doesn't work !
  5. When you draw a circle you place the center and at the desired raduis there is a dot making a revolution (from 0 to 360 degres). This dot will never pass through the center BECAUSE the raduis is constant in a circle. Rotation of a picture (to me) should be the same a this dot for all pixels of the picture and never pass through the center (except if raduis =0)... Example from paint.net: Example from Anim8tor: Example from Anim8tor (volume) :
  6. I assume the rotation is "normal". So we could simulate a revolution of the image. From top view a point of the describe a circle. Same point from angled view will describe an ellipse. To me it is the normal rule for perpective drawing. Actually with PDN the rotation applies also a reduction and THIS is the tricky part.
  7. Is it possible to adapt the rotation to have only one circle instead some kind of flat 8 (see my previous post) or could you explain why is the rotation like this? To Korteck : I suggest you to change the title to smething like : Layer rotation problem
  8. Tip: instead Ctrl+Click on each letter, I use Shift+Click only one time to select all letters at once.
  9. Thanks barkbark00 for this great solution for chrome...
  10. I don't like long post like Korteck's because they made mine fade! (joking)... Wow... Korteck you are impressive. Try to make Lady Liberty like Gold! Like here : http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?p=19227#19227
  11. <> Same tut... but instead using gradient on flat "floor" I used egg's forme... For the right pict, I played more with layers and layers modes...
  12. 1st one: 2nd version: and sticker (EDIT: replaced by a new attempt) 3rd version: New one: Then I have to make a choice... Please replace the 1st one by the new one.
  13. glad you enjoy it... Thanks. I also play with it:
  14. Background: As shown on the screenshots the background is the level zero layer (the black one). Uncheck it to have transparent background. Gif should be ok then... To save: First : Always save in .pdn format AND second : save in any other format you need...(.jpg, .gif, etc) (somethime you'll need to flatten before Ctrl+Shift+F) If you need to update/change then open the .pdn file!
  15. Best method is directly depending on the picture... For a difficult image I create a duplicated layer and use the posterise effect and/or turn it into B/W and/or adjustment/curves.... etc to reduce the color depth and isolate the subject... Then it's time to use the magic wand on top layer and delete on original layer... Post your picture for more tips...
  16. Yes, follow this link... http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1804&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=outline
  17. The option is "Crop to selection". You first have to select a part of the image. Then "crop the selection" will cut off all the part outside the selection AND resize the image to fit the selection size.
  18. ...or dusted like Nagasaki... (also Google search)
  19. It is (quite) easy to use the standard pre-programmed GUI for 1,2 or 3 sliders... When we need something else than sliders or more than 3 the challenge is more difficult (for me). I'll miss time next days for that. So it will be done in 1-2 weeks...
