  1. How many varieties of ice cream do they have?
  2. your the one showing us the images raven. No offence but I for one don't want to clutter my drop down url history with a ton of those links. Can't you link them all yourself in your post?
  3. What do people use the pencil tool for?! Doesn't the brush tool satisfy your dirty artistic needs? Instead of the "switch to pencil tool" option, how about a "switch to tool X" option? Or since that would be hard to lay out, how about giving the user the ability somewhere (perhaps in the drop down tool list) to set a default tool, and then having a "switch to default tool" option?
  4. nah that was the first place I tried but I didn't find anythig about smooth scrolling or anything like that. It's no big deal. I just thought I'd point it out. While I'm here, is it just me that is unable to use the delete button in places like the font size form?
  5. Oh right fair enough. I dunno how to turn that stuff off but at least it's just me.
  6. This is an imae that rick posted in the pictorium on like the third page.
  7. I dont know if this was present in older versions of paint.net but If you use the scroll wheel in the font list it really goes crazy. It still works but it's very hard to follow the list since the font you are looking at speeds down the list and off the screen, only to appear back where it should be.
  8. Windows explorer does not crash for me. It simply opens just one of the files as I previously described.
  9. Those sound great. With the gradient effect I think a realtime view of what it will look like would be great. But what if clicking on the canvas once created a start nub, and then clicking again created a second nub and then the gradient was drawn between these two nubs. Then you could give the user the ability to move both these nubs until they get the gradient just right (since it would still be shown in realtime). This would allow people to really tweak and play with the gradient they are drawing.
  10. 3 divided by itself is equal to exactly 1. Anything else is blasphemy!
  11. I have been using the latest build (2445) today and it's looking pretty sweet. I actually got no crashes and I used it quite a bit, so I think that says a lot about the stability. I did however notice a few things. ----------------------------------------------- I don't believe this one counts as a bug but I think it deserves a little atttention. When you are zoomed into an image and drawing something with one of the tools, if you approach the limits of the viewable area with the mouse while drawing something then the view goes pretty turbo. When drawing cartoons while zoomed that would really drive me nuts. This also applies when using the middle mouse button with the zoom tool. When you hold down the middle mouse button and move the mouse around the view moves so fast that it pretty much goes straight to the canvas limits. ----------------------------------------------- With the magic wand, when you click using the right mouse button it adds to the history even though nothing happens. ----------------------------------------------- Some effects allow you to input negative numbers and numbers greater than the sliders maximum. Inputting negative numbers does nothing as far as I can see however it still goes through the "applying effect" process. When inputing numbers higher than the maximum,it simply appplies the effect to the maximum or the slider. ----------------------------------------------- Other than those I found nothing else wonrg with it even though i was really trying to. The only other thing I can find is reguarding how you can only open 1 file at a time via windows explorer or via File>Open.... although that is not a bug. Keep up the good work Mr Brewster.
  12. I have been away for ages but can I play your painting game?
  13. Yes of course. It can be used for anything.
  14. Yeh sorry. I made it and then forgot how to re-create it. I will try my bestest to remake something similar but this time I will try harder to remember what I do.
  15. To Itsuka.Yamazaki. Thats a good drawing but I think a few of the sketchlines could be emphasised more. The center of the image is great, I am talking about her right hand arm and those giant hernias. It's great though it realy looks like it was painted. Dear Mr 13_15_4_14_1_18 Nice picture and the backdrop is real good. What are those spikey things at the bottom right of the image?
  16. nah you can only flatten all of the layers in one go. However you can open another paint.net and paste the layers that you want to flatten into it.. Flatten them, and then copy and paste that layer back to the original.
  17. I apologise Chris. I did not see that before. I absolutely love burntface man. If anyone ever inspired me it was david firths creation burntfaceman.
  18. sorry I didn't save my pdn files. I saved it as png and of course lost all the layer information. But from memory it is simply two images I made in the past, blended together, flattened into one layer, and then I used a combination of glowing and layer curve editing to make it look pretty. Here are the two images I used. I made them a while ago (like several months ago) so I don't really remember how they were done.
  19. he means where you click on the canvas and as you click more and more paint.net joins all the points that you clicked together to form a shape.
  20. Hmmm I had a go but I didn't really make anything good. Just try loads of different effects.
