scaling = when the aspect ratio remains the same when resizing, and regular boring old resizing is just where the aspect ratio changes willy nilly.

Hello paint.net people. I am here to suggest a suggestion that is so azmazing that my head would explode if I even began to understand it. While using regular crappy microsoft paint for no apparent reason, I was thinking, when you select an image, or past and image, I noticed microsoft paint made a certain colour transparent. Well how about this... When you copy and paste an image or move/select an image, perhaps there could be a way to determine which colour is transparent? And maybe you could use that "tolerance" button to make it even cooler. And also maybe how about the ability to use the "paint fill" tool to fill an area with transparency which could also use the tolerance option. I am sorry if my ideas were already stolen by someone and used in paint.net but I felt I had to say them.

how about scaling a selection? I have the latest version but cant seem to do that. I mean I can resize an image, just not scale it. its like being given half a sandwhich...... but then realising that half a sandwhich contains the most amazing filling ever, and then finding some money on the floor to buy the scond half of the sandwhich. ^the most complex and in-understable metaphor in the world.

i love you. Paint.net version 2.0 had been my favourite image editor for ages as I couldn't find the website (nowhere to be seen on google?). But then I realised the website was listed on the "about" bit, so i was like "YAY". So i downloaded version 2.2 alpha/beta and now im a happy person. It makes me happy that every time someone downloads paint.net a mincrosoft paint program dies. That helps me sleep at night. HI- FiVE Im suprized its not more popular than it is. only 85 members of the forum? Should be a gillion. but then like i said before its not on google and google is like the portal to the internet. I hope you continue to make it better. Its like amazing. :shock:
