  1. Not possible to do with Paint.NET, no. Nor is it possible with any graphics program I can think of. HOWEVER, you may be able to do this with DHTML and absolute positioning.... just a thought.
  2. We plan on locking the thread and moving it to the new forum.
  3. Well, if the files are too big, you could try Image > Resize. Select a smaller size for your pictures for viewing on the screen or emailing to friends. Of course, you want to keep the 2-3MB sized files for printing.
  4. No need to shout. I edited your thread title for you.
  5. I know the release date so I will look then. OK, then, why are you asking for a PM?
  6. Yes, everyone... except you. That would be silly, don't you think? When its open, you'll just see it in the list of forums on the board index page.
  7. Then, you don't have to wait as long as everyone else.
  8. I thought you wrote CodeLab. Tom Jackson wrote CodeLab. I simply added a bunch of features to it (like UI creation, Icons, submenus, bug fixes, etc.)
  9. If you want to learn how to write plugins, read this post: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1096 It includes links to 3 tutorials that should really help you.
  10. The forum is hosted at a company called 'Forumer'. If the forum is down, check with Forumer to see why. Rick, or any of the other mods, do not have control over it. In fact, Rick has a few words to say about it here: http://blog.getpaint.net/2008/03/15/pai ... own-again/
  11. Are you talking about Paint.NET the program or the Paint.NET discussion forum?
  12. I did rewrite the algorithm for Feather, but I only added features. It is still possible to get the exact same effect with the latest build as you got from all previous builds. In order to do that, just set the strength slider all the way to the left (1) and the other slider works as it did before. Of course, I did change the method slider to a check box. Before you set method to 0 for my feather and 1 for true feather. Now, you just check or uncheck the box for that.
  13. I think the Object menu is best for drop shadow. In fact, I've been thinking of some more stuff to go in there...
  14. I clicked on that link and the following error came up: You have attempted to visit a page that poses a security risk to Intel. Information Technology (IT) blocks pages that use Social Engineering attempts to gain access to the Intel network.
  15. Well, I have my "after" picture. Now, just show me the before picture and I'm done. http://www.visualpharm.com/wallpaper/an ... 24x768.jpg
  16. No. Just that featured pictures will be hosted at getpaint.net for viewing in the Gallery thread.
  17. The nominated pictures that are accepted to the Gallery (which is just one of the threads in the new Pictorium forum) will be hosted at getpaint.net and the post will be copied to the Gallery thread.
  18. Hmmm... I've already been in the new forum and looked around. With this much giddiness, you're sure to be disappointed.
  19. I am The update kicked both "AA's" & "Basic AA's" behind. I never get tired of hearing that.
  20. It is the same funtion as the "shrink" check box from the old version. True. But, now that there's a Strength slider, it is even more powerful. Glad you like it.
  21. I did a search for 'bling' and found this: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=20661 The thumbnail's don't do the image justice. Be sure to check out the full view.
  22. I know the feeling. I used to be impatient for the contest to end, but at this point I'd just be happy with CMD back. I chatted with him recently. CMD's online life is on hold while he gets caught up on his homework. He'll be back soon.
