  1. CodeLab is located in the Effects > Advanced menu.
  2. OK, here is the easy (not so professional) way to do it: 1. Open the chair image 2. Open the cloth image 3. Edit > Select All on the cloth image and press Edit > Copy 4. Switch over to the chair image 5. Edit > Paste to a new layer (Ctrl-Shift-V) - do not expand canvas! 6. Your cloth layer should be selected. Do Adjustment > Invert Colors 7. Select the chair level and Adjustments > Invert colors 8. Select the upper, cloth layer and press F4 (layer properties) 9. Change the layer property to Multiply, then click OK. 10. Image > Flatten 11. Adjustments > Invert colors Done! Slightly more professional result: 12. After doing the above, Layer > Open from file, select your original chair image. 13. Press F4 (layer properties) 14. Change the layer blending mode to Multiply and the Opacity to about 128. Click OK. 15. Adjustments > Brightness / Contrast. Increase brightness and contrast until you like the image. Done. Hope this helps! EDIT: Now, as I said, this is the quick, not-so-professional way to do it. A professional would break the texture up into smaller pieces so the "grain" of the texture matched each surface of the chair. Also, this plugin may do the whole thing for you: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/19666-apply-texture/ ____________________________
  3. Hey, if you want an inferior bevel, that's your business.
  4. It has: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/2940-popular-feature-requests/ Since you're not a programmer and you are not familiar with the internal layout of paint.net, don't presume to know how difficult it would be to add this feature. Adding something like this would likely force a change to the .pdn file type... which would be HUGE!
  5. I never used 6502. I owned a TRS-80 Model I and learned Z80 assembler as my second language after BASIC.
  6. The problem was probably this: you can only change an image within the active selection (or the entire canvas if the selection is not active). You probably had a selection somewhere else while trying to type text outside of that selection. If this happens again, simply press Ctrl-D (deselect) before using the text tool.
  7. I was able to replicate this: 1. Open paint.net 2. Image > Canvas size Verify that the resolution is set to 96.00 dpi. 3. Click OK. 4. Image > Canvas size Verify that the resolution is set to 96.00 dpi. 5. Click Cancel. 6. File > Save as... Save file as png format, for example Blank.png 7. Close paint.net 8. Right-click on Blank.png and "Open with paint.net" 9. Image > Canvas size Notice that the dpi setting is NOT 96.00. Mine turned out to say 95.99.
  8. Have you double-clicked on your recycle bin (on your desktop) and tried to find the file that way? If you find it, right-click on the file and choose "Restore" from the menu.
  9. Try this plugin: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/32126-trs-dodge-and-burn-blur-and-sharpensept-3-2015/
  10. It obviously needs a second dll in order to work. And, now ArgusMagnus is learning why I never use 2 dlls for a single effect.
  11. Why the hate? I will just say that using GOTO to control program flow works fine. The major problem is that using GOTO instead of other structures (DO/WHILE, REPEAT/UNTIL, FOR/NEXT, etc.) makes your code MUCH harder to follow when trying to understand and/or debug the code.
  12. Just let CodeLab write this code for you. 1. Effects > Advanced > CodeLab 2. File > New 3. From the drop down in the middle of the screen, choose "Clipboard-->" 4. Generate Code
  13. You have created 4 accounts here at this forum, 3 of which have been banned. Not a good start. You post tons of useless drivel... You don't even use paint.net... And, you ask to be a mod?! Go away before I ban you again.
  14. What it means is that for those two forums, you may not start a thread in there unless you are publishing a plugin (for the plugin forum) or publishing a tutorial (for the tutorial forum). If you start a thread in one of those two forums to ask a question or to request a tutorial or plugin, your thread will be moved to the general forum which is where stuff like that belongs. This keeps those forums clean of off-topic posts.
  15. He can eat anything he wants, he just needs to take insulin to process it.
  16. My son, who has Type I diabetes, wanted to be a super hero, so... I photochopped together this image for him. Enjoy. __________________
  17. Simply use the color picker tool: :PaintDotNet.Icons.ColorPickerTo Once you click on the tool, there are several cool options in the button bar. Then, click on your image (left click to set primary color, right click to set secondary color.)
  18. Other versions will work, just not as well. Windows 10 changed the look of window frames which can make older versions of paint.net look "funny". Version 4.0.6 corrects those issues.
  19. Try this plugin: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/16347-circle-text/
  20. You're using Image > Resize instead of Image > Canvas Size.
  21. That's a great idea. I have implemented this for the 2.7 release of CodeLab.
