  1. This is only supported for the GIF file type.
  2. Please don't hack in a workaround, as it is very likely to break in future version of Paint.NET. Or it would go outside the boundaries of what the plugin framework is providing, and will not be usable in all scenarios (now or in the future). I can accomodate this in a future release of Paint.NET but for now please do not hack around this. Otherwise I will be forced to break your plugin in a future release of Paint.NET just so that I can maintain a hack-free plugin framework.
  3. If I can manage to find some time I'll post my own write up on this and make it a sticky. The problem is that nobody reads these guidelines half the time anyway :-\ But it will still be useful to have something to point at and say, "Hey! You didn't follow the rules!"
  4. This information is not available to the SaveConfigWidget. You should instead name your checkbox something like, "Generate mip-maps if possible for 2^n sized images"
  5. Andy can you please shrink your signature? It's too big.
  6. No, you cannot undo one item from the middle of the list. All the actions you take are temporally dependent. What that means is that action #N has saved its undo data with the full assumption that action #N-1 came before it, and has thus optimized itself around that fact.
  7. dairyman, your sig is broken. Please fix it.
  8. Moved to Bugs & Troubleshooting Please read the sticky at the top of this forum, "are you having problems installing or uninstalling" ...........
  9. No. There is only ever 1 active selection path.
  10. So click on the Rectangle Select tool and draw a new selection rectangle.
  11. I read the whole thread and still can't figure out what you're asking. If you want to select a layer, you just click on it. If you want to ensure that only the contents of that layer are visible, then uncheck all the other layers that are on top of it. The layer list shows you the layers in the current image, it is not an MDI list.
  12. Yes it's possible, although it definitely requires skill and patience. You can see the work that I did on a picture from Seattle. The original is here, http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/paint.net/scree ... CN1262.jpg , and you can note the power lines crossing in front of the Space Needle that obscure things really bad. After I spent several hours with the Clone Stamp and various other Paint.NET tools, I ended up with this: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/27687013/ . Note that the foreground power lines are completely gone. I also did some contrast and saturation adjustments that really turned out well. Unfortunately I can't provide much in the way of a tutorial for several reasons. It's not necessarily simple to perform, and the work required varies and depends heavily on the nature and quality of the source image. The other reason is that I'm tired and just don't have enough time to go into this except to say that yes it is possible with Paint.NET.
  13. This thread is old and stale. Please do not add on to threads that are clearly long dead. Locked
  14. Hey aatwo, an idea: kinda like on my "Shwoops" tutorial, you might try cropping out a small portion of that last picture there to make a sweet sig.
  15. jwnin, Please simply look me up in Outlook and e-mail me directly, I can provide all the info you need.
  16. Why was this posted ........ ? I will leave it here as a reminder not to post like this. Locked
  17. 1. Image->Canvas Size and expand the size of the image 2. Duplicate layer 3. Use Effects->Blur-Motion Blur on the original layer
  18. Nothing is being halved. The outline is simply drawn before the interior, and the two overlap. Try drawing with the alpha set to 128, it will make more sense.
