  1. EER meant to say: 2. Ctrl + Alt + V (Paste into new image)
  2. Also: No keyboard action required. (And when I say "kill" I mean, of course, Finish.)
  3. If you ignore the end nodes they will not move. Quickly clicking once off-canvas will "kill" the line.
  4. Try putting the OptionBasedLibrary files outside the Effects folder as the plugin author instructs. Beyond that I'm out of ideas.
  5. I don't know if this will make a difference, but try renaming Effekts to Effects. Link
  6. Please have your next screenshot show the Tool and History windows also.
  7. Yes. Unless you are starting with a solid color silhouette of Mickey Mouse, the "Image in text" tutorial won't work without some adjustments. Try what I've suggested. Let us know whether it works for you.
  8. Assuming the Mickey Mouse image is on a white background, put it on a layer above the watercolor background. Then Magic Wand the white area outside Mickey. Press "Ctrl I" to invert the selection, then press Delete on the keyboard. The watercolor should now show through a Mickey-shaped hole. You can clean up the edges of the hole using AA's_Assistant or Feather Object plugin effects. AA's_Assistant Feather Object
  9. Using EER's method--- If the second image's aspect ratio is different from the first image, hold the Shift key down while doing this part: This will avoid distorting the image. (Actually it's a good idea to hold down the Shift key even if it is the same aspect ratio.)
  10. Open the second image, resize, then copy/paste into a new layer in the first image.
  11. It's also possible to have a taskbar shortcut open paint.net with the file of your choice. (Some prefer to have PaintDotNet open to a different canvas size, some don't like the white background layer that opens by default, etc.) Create and save an image file of your choice. Open file Properties and set to Read Only. Open Properties on a PaintDotNet desktop shortcut, in the Target box paste the file path of your image file of choice after the existing PaintDotNet.exe path. The image file path must be in quotes, and there needs to be a space between the two paths. On my PC: "C:\Program Files\paint.net\PaintDotNet.exe" "C:\Users\14152\Pictures\8Cx6C STOCK.pdn" When done you can drag the shortcut onto the taskbar.
  12. So far as I know, no buttons can be added to the top bar. Esc or Ctrl+D work for me.
  13. If you can upload the file and post the download link we can see if we can find a way to open it. https://zippyshare.com/
  14. News Thank you. It works. @lynxster4 For this I didn't get a drop-down menu.
  15. Pixey, thank you for your response. I am glad to have that info. However, I'd like to know how to make Named Links like the two in this post: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/117519-defining-a-number-of-colors-in-a-bmp-file/?do=findComment&comment=578705 Also, how are these generated?
  16. I've taken this Named Link code directly from https://www.bbcode.org/ [url=https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/15386-metallize%E3%80%80ver-11-update-08062009/]Metallize[/url] It doesn't work. Where can I find code that works with this forum?
  17. Try this: Fill a layer above the chair with red. Set Layer Properties to Overlay.
