  1. Enjoy! Vegvisir shapepack HERE There are 15 .xaml HP files. Download HP HERE To make the mom's hat, I just used a triangle and circle, already in the PDN shapes. For the kids hats I used hats from the other Halloween or above HP shape packs. Download magical mom, kids, and pet HERE Download Halloween night with the children in costume. There are 12 files. Kids in costumes, their pets, haunted house, cemetery, trees, etc.. Enjoy! Download HERE Happy Halloween! This shapepack has over 30 .xaml files. Monsters, witches, vampires, wolves, werewolves, different haunted houses, spider webs, ghosts, cemetery stuff, trees, and more. Enjoy them and have fun! Download HERE I hope some of you will enjoy using the shape packs I've made and share. I made these a few months ago for a relative and his fan fiction interests. Instead of just deleting them I thought I would add them here so they could be shared and enjoyed, for educational purposes. Some work best when not in a tiny size. Either way, instead of deleting them from the computer, I'm sharing them. The .xaml files are below the image. Next to the astrology signs include abbreviations of what the name of the sign is so you know. Just erase them but at least you know what astrological sign you are dealing with when they are symbols or star constellations. Below is a sample image of what you can do with some of this...and just imagine if you are better at using PDN than I am. Astrology Chart Shape Pack I hope some of you find these of use or enjoyable....Lydia This first, "Hamsa". Hamsa Shape Pack Hamsa Shape Pack.zip NEW: 04/16/2017 I had a project I did to help a friend so I'm sharing those shape packs. It's been awhile since I used ShapeMaker but it's like riding a bike. There are 3 new shape packs. One is "Hamsa", the other is "Comic Book", and the third one is "The 60s & 70s". I edited some of them prior to uploading here to share with anyone who may want them, also: Ugly Christmas Sweaters & Photo Props Shape Pack Here is the zip file: Christmas UGLY sweaters.zip 2/20/16 Here is a big kit. It's Sugar Skull (Calavera), which is part of Dia de los Muertos; a festival celebrating and honoring those who have died because the dead would not want their loved ones sad since those who have passed away are with loved ones. The zip file is below the sample image. There are many traditional shapes and many shapes made to decorate your skull. Lynxter's gemstone pack could also be used for decorating skulls, as diamonds are often seen on the top center for decorations, as well....but, of course, you can decorate it with whatever you want. The "papel picado" (banner flags) were made with shapes that already come with Paint.Net 4.0 and higher, as was the heart. The skeleton can be put together to show different poses (standing, dancing, playing guitar, maracas, trumpet, etc). You use the same arms and legs but make a copy and "flip" them for the other side. So, for a 'fledgling' user to give a crack at using the ShapeMaker plugin, here is what I made. I was going to delete them after practicing the use of ShapeMaker but JUST IN CASE anyone out there might like them or might want to use the 3 piece Snowman Shape Pack, here you are: Special thank you to those at this forum, as someone is ALWAYS around to offer help, and many have. Impressive. 3 pc snowman xaml pack.zip
  2. Very good, thank you to all of you who have assisted. So, we do attach our files/images via "My Settings" in the mini menu...then we go to the appropriate forum page and in the right thread, we can upload our files within the typing text area that I am typing this post on? Correct? Perhaps clicking on that red and white thing in upper right-ish area that says "Options" when mouse rests on it?
  3. Those are really nice eggs. I like that one is broken....or hatching. Both can serve useful purposes.
  4. I know, right! For me, it's like, "Hey, now I can draw something!!...sort of" It's a way, at least for me, to be able to make something, well, actually, anything. Anyway, I agree. it's a fun plugin. The possibilities are endless.
  5. LOL @ the sock with Pyro's name on it....Those are so nice and how thoughtful of you to do that for people.
  6. Those are really nice. Thank you so much. It was very thoughtful of you.
  7. Well, I used ShapeMaker and wanted to offer a small zip file of what I made in case anyone wants to use them. I read if you want to display an image, for instance, an image to show what the zip file contains, to load images up at ImageShack or Photobucket. I also read how some have a certain amount of space here for such uploading? I have been looking for a thread that explains about uploading zip files to no success but I did find one for images. What have any of you found to be the easiest way to recommend? Should I just upload and link to/from Dropbox? Images and zips cannot be linked from another website a person made/owns? I can't find any thread that explains uploading zip files. (I know about zips and uploading, I just wanted to make sure I read the policy about that.) Any suggestions or input would be appreciated and thank you.
  8. Hmmmm....well, now, remember who you are mercifully even bothering to be dealing with. I don't even know how to use the "hide" function on this forum. I can copy and paste the code without including the header/footer tags, while seeing the code within the Kaxaml editor. Is that what you want me to do?
  9. OK, I'm having the open edges, too....I installed Kaxaml and tried to put a Z in, but upon opening up the file of the image I made, within Kaxaml, I realized it wasn't what you are showing to add a Z to. So, I guess I can't add a Z to make the corners not split open in places, when enlarging it...not all the way open but more like corners split open. I can simply use the paint tool and fill in those "V" areas. I still love the plugin.
  10. The issue with Eli happened to me, too. After saving it then installing the file to "shapes", once I selected it to use on the canvas I then realized it added a protruding line on the image that I didn't make or have. I just used my eraser tool to get rid of it once I had the image the size I wanted it. It was the only thing I knew to do and wasn't a big deal to do but I'm just letting you know in case it helps with anything.
  11. I want to thank you for a very cool plugin. I spent about 10 - 15 minutes of tinkering around with the buttons (like a person who put on a pair of ice skates for the first time) and referred to the manual one time (thus far) but I got the hang of it. Remember, I'm NOT a techie person, either. I made a rather large object with a lot of twists and turns but before it was completed I was cruising along click, click, clicking away in and out of corners, this way and that way. One can easily control and edit various places of the image being made. I also saved what I made to my desktop as an xaml file then placed it into my "Shapes" file, within PDN. What would the disadvantage be for "Save as XAML" instead of "Export PathGeometry"? Just curious. Anyway, to all involved in ShapeMaker, thank you.
  12. Hi, TH, I wanted to thank you for this incredible tutorial, but to also thank you for making a nice PDF file to go with it. As it is, I copy and paste tutorial to Word, tweak it a little then save it as a PDF. So, in other words, you're awesome--again!
  13. I have a couple of nice color palets I made using PDN's feature that let's a person do that, but my text is slightly worded different than the color pallet files posted here. (I don't know where that "hide" feature is on posting that spares people a lengthy content of info or I would use it for the below color palette. I hover my mouse over each little button thing to read it and none say "hide". I call this one: "Old Wooden Boat on the Beach" Hidden Content: ; This palette file is generated by the Image To Palette plugin ; Each entry is in the format AARRGGBB ; Lines starting with a semicolon are comments 00000000 FFFEFEFE FF8A370A FFC29D87 FFC3794A FF837D79 FFA27D61 FF885F41 FFAA7647 FFC4752B FFCBB9A7 FFB19C87 FF8F5B27 FFE8DACA FFE39C4D FF725C42 FFC59A66 FFCB8938 FF937347 FF6E4D1F FF51340C FFE2BC85 FFC7954F FFEDAE51 FFB29569 FFB18B4F FFB3833A FFE5BA72 FFD3B889 FFCFAE71 FFEDC479 FFCFA459 FFE9D3AA FFEDCD91 FFDBC392 FF241A04 FFD7CAAA FFB7A472 FFFDE29B FFBBA25B FF9B8239 FFFBEBB2 FF958652 FFB1AA8E FFFAF1C8 FFACACAB FF6C724E FF748139 FFD9E1B9 FF8A9271 FF91A27A FF708559 FF7B7C7A FF4C524A FF7CA177 FF8EA68C FF939593 FFD3D7D3 FF516F51 FF5A825D FF6E8F72 FF2A4C2F FF76A38E FF6C9786 FF558975 FF91C7B3 FF4C786A FFC8E3DB FF7AC1AC FF75B7AA FF318279 FF558F8A FF1F6766 FFA6D5D6 FFD2EAEB FF69C5D1 FF3DB7C5 FF49B7C7 FF4EA9B9 FF3190AA FF053A48 FF27758C FF4695AF FFC7DDE6 FF435F6D FF4A798F FFA4B9C4 FF85A6BB FF8CADC5 FF799BB4 FF829DB5 FF809EC2 FF7C7E81 FFA19FA4 FF817E81 FF6A5961 I call this one, "Neons": Hidden Content: ; This palette file is generated by the Image To Palette plugin ; Each entry is in the format AARRGGBB ; Lines starting with a semicolon are comments 00000000 FF000000 FF3A3A3A FF434343 FF6D6D6D FF959595 FFAFAFAF FFD6D6D6 FFFDFDFD FFFF9F9F FF57221F FFFB6E50 FFD17851 FFF7974E FFCC7A2D FFFE9837 FF9E661F FFFDF2D2 FFF8E5A4 FFFFCD25 FF312806 FF66570B FFF6D81A FFDAC614 FFFEE718 FFF8EC5E FFF7E72C FF9E9A59 FFA79F1C FFDEE51F FFD1DD3A FFD1E227 FF9CD730 FF97D767 FF75B94C FFD5F5CD FFA8EC98 FF398B26 FF5ADA3B FF28611A FF49B230 FF112B0B FF62D34C FF86A384 FF39CB74 FF5FC490 FF2AC48E FF5F9EA0 FF17A5B3 FF9CE0EF FF3AC2E0 FFD3F1F8 FF60CDE6 FF32BFE0 FF24AECD FF001D24 FF002730 FF003947 FF005366 FF00718B FF00AFD7 FF099EC7 FF2B94CE FF4683C9 FF6272C3 FF7D61BE FF9B5EA6 FFB83CB2 FFD629AC FFF929AD FFFF69C6 FFD70D8A FFFE10A3 FF380324 FF6F0647 FFFFA1DA FFFFD2ED FFF6159A FFA60E66 FFDB3B8D FFFA2A8F FFE95098 FFF83676 FFC95B78 FFFC4F6C FFD3636F FF280D10 FFB26E73 FF9C3237 FFD6454B FFFE5359 FFFFCCCD FFFF686A When I figure out how to use the "hide" feature, I'll come back in here and hide the lengthy hex number code things....or one of the admins can do it to my post. I don't find that offensive or such.
  14. Cc, thank you for taking the time to do this tutorial. The screenshots, the patients...detailed step-by-step info. This is such a TRULY well done tutorial. I've saved this one, too. (I'm making my own custom PDN tutorial 'nerd binder'...complete with plastic page protectors to slide the pages into.)
  15. Hi. I just installed the gears.dll and can't find it anywhere. I've looked solely under "Effects". In Distort. In Render....I looked for "Iterative lines" at the very bottom of the Effects listing, too. I've restarted PDN three times. Any suggestions? Thank you.
  16. Dear Technorobbo, I LOVE your videos and your plugins are incredible. So appreciated. Thank you again for the genuinely awesome videos....thank you to all of you. It's somewhat touching regarding how so many people dedicate so much time to bringing so much more life to PDN. Dearest coders, how do I love thee, let me count the ways....
  17. This was an outstanding explanation. It helped me understand it better than any other place I have read this information at. I've saved it onto a .pdf I sincerely thank you.
  18. Is there a possibility of a grid/snap to grid function, for the entire canvas area, or such? If memory serves me correctly, I THINK a number of years ago a prior version had a grid option (like the ruler option).... Ok, thanks. PS, I used the search function for "Grid" and nothing came up.
  19. OK, it's not doing what it once seemed to be doing, or perhaps I'm not doing something I had been doing without realizing it (which is more likely the case). Thank you for helping me better understand that. Oh, and thanks for the vid link for me to check out! (I'm one of the "special people" who uses PDN.)
  20. OK, that "special spot", aka the active dot also appears and stays on the canvas when I click on the canvas to use the paint bucket. After the color has filled the entire canvas, or whatever area is being filled with color, that "rogue active dot" stays. It goes away ONLY when I click on the gray area. That spot stays in place wherever I have initially clicked on it using the magic wand, too, so when that wanded area selected additionally has a bevel or effect added to it, that dot area is also effected or "beveled". In order for it to not make a 'mutated' area I have to somehow find another location, perhaps on the very edge of the specific area effected, so that it isn't as noticed. Using the 'paint bucket tool' within the tool window means I can just click on the gray area for that rogue dot to go away. If not, it stays there until I do something else, if I don't click on the gray area. The prior version never had that little tiny matter. I work around it and deal with it but just in case it needs a mention, for whatever reasons, I'm throwing it out there. I'm on the latest version of PDN and Windows 7, for what that's worth. Also, I can live with this and adapt, but, juuuuuust in case it might matter or in case others have noticed it....and I still LOVE Paint.Net, regardless. It's not like PDN doesn't work and it's not even that big of a deal to deal with. Uh, it could also be involving some weirdo completely unrelated different thing on my computer, like with how that Firefox add-on was causing numbers to show up whenever I posted on this forum. I'm not going to bother mentioning it any more. I only did in case it matters or may down the road, for whatever reason. Just cuz.
  21. I use that search feature for this forum to spare posting something likely already posted, even if it was posts nearly 8 years ago or such. All I wanted to do was find topics posted on a few features like "Texture" effect and "Apply Texture" effect....and "BlendModePlus"....and "Dissolve effect". No results, at all, came up when I typed in "Texture". I know those topics are in this forum. That has been the case with other searches, too. Sometimes I have copied and pasted a specific name of other various plugins and nothing will come up, either. So, any advice when searching this forum? Other than being as specific as is possible? Thank you.
  22. PS, Cc figured out why I had those two and three digit numbers always showing up with my posts on this forum. Thank you, Cc. That seems to have been the issue.
  23. Ok, this is just with the 4.06 version of PDN that I've noticed this....I noticed it right away since I've had the newest version. I just never bothered posting about it because it's such a small thing, yet, ok, it's sometimes now 'low level annoying' but I get around it. Once PDN opens and you have your whatever to begin working on, and you go to to use practically any tool in the tool window--one that requires mouse use touching the canvas--- an initial tiny dot sticks to the image...ok, maybe it's only using the magic wand. For sure, at least, it involves the magic wand. It's one teeny dot that stays put no matter what, until everything is deselected. It can and does cause a noticeable distortion where that "rogue dot" is when the marching ants are marching around upon many effects used around the "rogue dot". Sure, I can live with that "rogue dot". The two of us can remain to have an understanding if we have to. I'm just sayin', is all.....just throwing that out there...
