Swankyfrank
I can't draw a straight line with paint brush to save my life. While the program is loading I pull the mouse across the canvas, and that is the result. The last plugin I used was ShapeMaker, yesterday. I hope I'm not splitting hairs
Pixey
Hi @Swanky. It's very difficult to draw a straight line with the paint brush. Hold down the shift key and use the line/curve tool to draw a straight line. EDIT: I should have explained that holding down the shift will let you draw a straighlt line from top to bottom, or side-to-side .... and it will stay straight. If you want to make the line curve, you can 'pull' on the little circles to move the line in a shape. Swankyfrank
Thanks Pixie, a tip worth remembering, until I go out and buy batteries for the keyboard I'm stuck with the on screen board.
Woodsy
I am using an on screen keyboard and I have no problem. You can also draw a straight line without using the shift key. If you want exact angles (ie 15,30,45,...) using the shift key is easier. Quote My PDN Gallery
Ego Eram Reputo
Shift key snaps the angle of a line to 15 degree increments - not just horizontal and vertical (it is very useful for those too!). Red ochre
Off-topic: Quote Shift key snaps the angle of a line to 15 degree increments The angular measurements degrees, minutes and seconds always seemed odd to me. I read last night that 1 hour = 15 degrees, which kind of makes sense on a 24 hour clock face.(360/24 = 15). http://www.susdesign.com/popups/sunangle/hour-angle.php Of course I will still set my alarm clock in radians. 2 Quote Red ochre Plugin pack..............
