Fisherman's Friend
As the title indicates, I would like to suggest to increase (and maybe reduce) the number of handlers which appear when drawing a curve/line, for example via key(combination) ("+" / "-"). This would allow better handling of curves and in general the creation of more advanced ones.

Wither
I'm sure there's a complex and very mathematically oriented reason that this has not been implemented... But what do I know? If it's possible this would make a fine addition. Quote YouTube | Myspace | deviantART

The_Lionhearted
I believe if this ever happened...it would have to be a post-4.0 thing. But it has been requested before. Multiple times since I've been here. Quote My Gallery

david.atwell
I'm sure there's a complex and very mathematically oriented reason that this has not been implemented...But what do I know? If it's possible this would make a fine addition. I believe Rick has said that the current rendering architecture prohibits this modification. As T_Lh said, it should be possible with the rendering architecture planned for v4.0. But I'm not sure whether it will be implemented, just that it'll likely be possible. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
Geoff
Looks like a brilliant idea. This will become very handy indeed, and save me a lot of time Geoff
Mike Ryan
This was something I asked for a while back, and Rick agreed with no ETA. I have always wanted more nodes, but now I am quite use to having to have more lines than necessary.
Dogger
Perhaps the Line Tool could have an additional parameter on the menu bar, or the user could add handles on the fly by double clicking the active line. Also, styles need to include Parallel Lines, and a parameter to set the distance between them.
Leif
Something like this would bee a great new feature. I think I once suggested a sort of “snap to line” feature. A function that would make it easier to join a line onto/after the previous one you made. Say fixes the starting point of a new line, to the end of the previous. But for now, I believe the best suggestion; is for Rick to put this in “The most popular request” Quote My DA: http://leif-j.deviantart.com/ -------------- Some people seek justice so persistent, that they will do great injustice themselves. rhynsburgercbt
I agree I'd love to see this feature. I'm no programmer (although I'd love to learn), so i have no idea what it would take to add this feature.
