MJW
Is there any way to add custom controls in Visual Studio projects that can be used along side Indirect UI controls? The controls would have to maintain the previously-used settings the way Indirect UI controls do. Preferably they would have the same interface, but that's not absolutely necessary. No, Indirect UI is a closed system. MJW
That's unfortunate. I have several plugins, such as the Perspective Transformation, that need controls not provided by Indirect UI. I'm wiling to write one custom control, but I'm disinclined to write a whole suite of controls to replace all the other Indirect UI controls used by the plugin. MJW
Interesting, BoltBait, but it seems to be incomplete, with a long to-do list, and doesn't seem to provide source code, so I don't think it would help in adding new controls. In the absence of the ability to incorporate custom controls into Indirect UI, what I'd really like to do is develop a library of regular VS-style controls that match Indirect UI controls in appearance, and which provide the option of preserving the previously-used settings. My main problem is finding time for such a relatively involved project.
