Rick Brewster
I've crashed a couple more times recently when trying to undo things. This time I haven't been working with multiple layers but i have been copy/pasting, moving, and drawing spline curves. I undid something after doing some combination of those things and it crashed. By the looks of the crashlog it seems to be some variant of the one from earlier... http://pastebin.com/N5s8xk8q And here's another one which I don't quite remember. http://pastebin.com/kUfkmF7z I've had a few reports of this, even though I thought I fixed in the last update If you could find me specific repro steps that would be very helpful! Coornio
I seem to be having a peculiar behavior when zooming in and out, is this intended? https://www.dropbox.com/s/d0apaofn2mr9t0a/zoombug.avi
TrevorOutlaw
I have noticed that sometime after running an effect or using the Curves, the progress bar on the bottom of the screen would run in a continuous loop. It has happened when I run other plug-ins as well.
vvye
After a quick glance through this thread it looks like this hasn't been reported, so... The newest build, and quite possibly earlier versions as well, draw shapes differently depending on the current zoom. See below - the left square was drawn with the zoom set to 100% (clear edges), the right square is what's drawn when zoomed in or out (rather blurry, or anti-aliased if you will). I'm on Windows 7 if that matters. ---------------------------------------- EDIT: On an unrelated note, I know it says to only report bugs in this thread, so what would be the best place to share change or feature suggestions? Ego Eram Reputo
Rick has said that he won't be adding features at this stage. Only fixing bugs. This is so he can get this version to a public release as soon as possible. You're probably best to drop feature requests into the Paint.NET Discussion & Questions thread. ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker

The newest build, and quite possibly earlier versions as well, draw shapes differently depending on the current zoom. Hmm, this is due to not using pixel snapping. The mouse's screen coordinate is being translated to a non-integer image coordinate. Hmm. Not sure if this is a bug or a feature I'm inclined to say bug. Later I can add pixel snapping as a feature you can directly control, but for now it should round to integer image coordinates. Rick Brewster
Hello Rick, for 4.0 I was really hoping for Photoshop-style picture scrolling, where I can move an edge of the picture to a center of the screen and even further. I want all four panels to be there, but they are in the way all the time, turning off and on again is pain in the butt... And I have one bugreport, I tried the latest beta on Win 8.1 Pro in VMware (see Diagnostics). (VMware, beacuse 4 replaced my v3.5.11 even I didn't want that). I was just doodling "nothing" and horizontal, vertical and later diagonal spikes appeared (instantly), see pic below. I didn't draw anything that touches the edge of the picture, just the rubbish in the middle. Hope you find it helpful. This should be fixed in the next update.
