peterwippel Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 What i have to do to work with paint.net again ?? I got this when i start Paint ( see pic) Help Quote
peterwippel Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 I read here in the rules " don't ask for help" nice :-( I need to look it up in the answers, also nice, i don't even know what the fault or problems is. Always the same, it works untill there is a update, upgrade and if you have a problem with it, all IT-guys think everybody knows the problem or now how to solve it. I tryed ones to fix a problem, result, no pc for a week + extra cost to fix my pc. I always used paint.net with a lot of plugins. Its was great but now I'm forced to look out for a other ( working) paint, photo program :-( ( i hope not, hopping there is a good soul how will tell me what to do) Quote

midora Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Looks like there is a problem with your PDN 3.5.11 installation (maybe the core dll is defective). I would try to reinstall. The rules do not state that you should not ask for help. If you really have no idea what's the matter then you should ask. This does not mean that anybody is able to help. Quote
Ego Eram Reputo Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I don't speak or read ... Dutch? However I'm going to have a stab at this one. Line three says System.IO.FileNotFoundException Three possible causes: 1. Your HDD is failing and the file system is corrupted. Scan it and check it for errors. Open an Administrator level command prompt and type sfc /scannow followed by Enter. When that has finished do the same with chkdsk /f . Tell us what you find (if anything). 2. Paint.NET is corrupted. A reinstall should remedy this. Why not try the new v4.0 beta version that's out? 3. The .NET framework itself is in need of repair. peterwippel Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 Indeed time zone, sorry guys Frustration be course it did dent work made me depressant. Did not the chkdsk test yet , i Tried the beta version and ist working ( with even all the plugins) I do a lot of photo's , model-photography not like most guys how use photoshop. I want to prove you can make the same results with Paint.net. Not all effects ofcourse, but for me is it more than enough to make perfect basic pics. Old school method, first make your pics are perfect and after that you can use the fancy stuff, not like now, a 50% pic transforming in a better result. Al you need to make perfect modeling pics is Paint.net , smart photo editor and Portrait Professional studio 11.3 with those programs you make perfect work for almost no money. Adobe products are not bad, very good even, but the price is abnormal for what it is. you buy more the brand name. For me Paint.net still on nr1. (sorry for my bad English) Thx every one for the response and wish you all a fine day and work :-) Grts, Peter Quote
