SAND33P
A feature where when you press File, New, you can choose from a set of default and self defined size templates, for example, kinda what photoshop does, but you make the list yourself? So my most popular resolution is 1920x1080, but i use 1801x2528 and other sizes, i would love to be able to save and name these sizes to be selected from the File, New option. I know i can create blank canvases and save them to open and save again, but this would be a great feature to have in the future! david.atwell
No, I've seen this be suggested before. I just can't remember what Rick's answer was. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. Ego Eram Reputo
The workaround is to create correctly sized templates and save them as *.pdn's with a filename that describes the size. Like this: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/24853-how-do-you-stop-paintnet-from-creating-a-new-canvas-upon-program-execution/?p=376215 Double click the template to open it and immediately use Save As... to rename it so you don't overwrite the original (alternatively, set the file permissions as in the linked thread) 1 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
Simon Brown
You can also create shortcuts that will automatically load as untitled. I have a tutorial on how to do that here.
david.atwell
That was my original answer, too, but then I noticed that OP already used that and wants a baked-in option. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior...
