flynby
Here is what I am trying to do. I want to use the magic wand and make the outside of the tire transparent. I used to have a dll plugin that did that. It was under Adjustments or Effects - I think. I forgot the name for the plugin. Using version 3.5.10 and XP. Appreciate any help
pdnnoob
The "Plugins - Publishing ONLY!" section of the forum is for publishing plugins only, as you can see by the title. I'll move it over to the right section for you <Moved to Paint.NET Discussion & Questions> Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. flynby
Sorry about the mistake. Been quite a while since using the forum. I "think" I found what I was looking for - "transparence.dll". Trying to see if that was the right plugin. Thanks again Edited May 31, 2013 by flynby
pdnnoob
I think this plugin should do what you are looking for without touching the magic wand. However... The plugin you are looking for is the transparency plugin in BoltBait's plugin pack. You can find it in the Adjustments menu if you have it installed properly. Ego Eram Reputo
..I want to use the magic wand and make the outside of the tire transparent. 1. Activate the Magic Wand tool 2. Click anywhere on the white background to select it. Adjust the Tolerance in the Tool Bar to get 100% of the background selected. 3. Press the Delete key. 4. Save the image in a format which supports transparency, like PNG, not JPG.
