shalisha42
I've been fooling around with paint net to get acclimated. I know how to make rectangular banner - but I would like to make a banner that has rounded corners. Does paint net allow me to do that>? If so, please advise? yellowman
Use: Radius Fill Corner But you need to save your file as PNG or any transparent supported format if you want to work on all background colors. shalisha42
I am trying the rectangle tool, but I don't know how to resize it so that it is 780 x 150.

yellowman
Something wrong with the Rounded Rectangle tool ? Nothing wrong with it, but it is not customizable: -You can't control the size (especially in the Outline modes) -The radius of the corner in the Fill Shape mode is fixed. -If you use the Outline Shape or Outline with Fill Shape mode, you won't get a rounded corner but a polygonal corner, Please correct me if I am wrong, or if there a way to workaround. Ego Eram Reputo
RE: Customization: True. However for a quick rounded rectangle I generally use this and only consider plugins if it doesn't do the job I want. There are alternative rounded rectangle plugins: Rounded Rectangle Effect - v1.2.0.0 Squircle Curtis' Plugin Pack Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
