rickduley
I use p.N to prepare graphics for webpages, usually using the transparency feature of the GIF format. It would save me a lot of time if the Magic Wand selected all of the same colour including, for example, the space contained in the eye of an 'e'. Then I could set all the background to transparent with one keystroke. I'm slack and lazy, I know, but it would help me a lot. Thanks It's too easy to say 'It's too hard'!" Sarkut
rickduley, It's already a feature. Hold the Shift key down while using the Magic Wand. Edited April 23, 2010 by Sarkut

Ego Eram Reputo
Surely *.png would be a better file format for web graphics + transparency? If you're worried about size the OptiPNG Plugin can help with that. ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
Goonfella
Another way to select everything is by switching the Flood Mode from contiguous to global. No need to hold down shift then , it`ll all be selected in one click. Rick Brewster
Please, read the rules and do not use overly generic thread titles like "Feature Request." It really helps to keep the forum organized, and searchable so that other people can find answers quickly. Thanks.
