umg
My request is fairly simple.. atleast on paper. Basically what im looking is a plugin that can create realistic nebulas. The plugin would let you control the two parts of them, the colored filaments of dust and the stars. theonlychad
eep! that would be a brutal plugin to make. Way too many variables in that one. Simon Brown
I haven't used it much, but Apothysis sounds like a better bet than Paint.NET.
umg
eep! that would be a brutal plugin to make. Way too many variables in that one. Well, here are a list of paramaters 1) Stars - Size, randomness of distrobution, desnsity, glow amount, etc. 2) Dust : You would choose up to 3-4 "layers of dust. Then you would set the color, transparency, smoothness, and maybe you would have some sort of curves like tool for changing the shape... Or maybe just a simple slider for the "curviness" of the dust clouds.
Rick Brewster
You do realize you linked to a bunch of photographs, right? Those nebulas actually exist ... ergo, try search for "nebulas" on Google/Bing image search Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
david.atwell
Or commons.wikimedia.org - you can get free ones there. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Lance McKnight
Or you could try this Plugin where you can do Google Image search like Rick suggested. Quote Officially retired from this forum. Have a nice day.
flip
Or just try making it in PDN. It's possible. Quote Gallery
Leif
Some things are possible in PDN. This http://leif-j.deviantart.com/art/Space-2-80051615 was made in PDN. Stars made by hand, and some copy / paste. Nebulas made by making some random shapes. Then playing with noise and deferent blur and distort. Use many layers. Planet used the 3D plugin. And surface I think was crumbled paper from ScriptLab. Quote My DA: http://leif-j.deviantart.com/ -------------- Some people seek justice so persistent, that they will do great injustice themselves. Sharp
http://1-sharp-1.deviantart.com/art/Nebula-143261186 And this. Stars + paintbrush + gaussian blur + clouds + blend modes.
