barbieq25
Firstly, welcome! There are tutes for newbies but try anything. If you don't get the results you hoped for, put it aside & try something else. The tutes are a good starting point. That's what they are there for. Your work holds a lot of promise. I like the green one. Look forward to seeing more from you. Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. April Jones, 2012 Gallery My DA Gallery

DarkShock
The colors you're working with are just fine and they match the render. You should just work on blending in your render and making your own backgrounds. I'd say you're a step over being a "noob." Beta
I think your work is good, but then again I'm sort of new to the forums so I don't know if I should be judging artwork around here yet.

It took me three straight hours to make the first one when the sig would have orignally taken my about 20 minutes. JonnyreV
well, you may be a paint.net noob but you are showing that you have experience with some graphic design. I am wondering how much of this you did vs how much you pulled from here and there. Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE fan of pulling from multiple sources and mix/matching. Just hard to critique is all I am saying, not knowing what the origonals looked like. Only thing I woudl say is get some pluggins if you haven't yet. Check out the pluggin page here. Get all of the pyrochild and EdHarvey ones to start with
toinkzy08
i used these renders/stocks..credits to the owners i base my works thru tuts since i'm still learning how to make a good siggy and i think that's why tuts are there
0(-.-)0
Borders. You need borders! Try something without stocks. Something pure PDN. You can make great stuff like that. Good luck. Quote - Any thoughts? -
toinkzy08
aw.. maybe that's what JonnyreV wants to say.. He just made it complicated with the blahs hehe.. peace dude.. hmmm maybe i'll give it a shot thanks
DarkShock
I like what you did with the colors in this one: Check out my gallery. I made small bit of additions.
