barbieq25
Heat Stroke, Julio Coolio & Welshy, thanks guys. I've got a couple of new ones on page one. The flames in the Ladybug one started off as stock. I've been pondering how to do this in PDN & now I think I have it sussed. I need a fairly sharp tip to the flame. Expect some serious flame work soon. Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. April Jones, 2012 Gallery My DA Gallery

barbieq25
Thanks Welshy. I know there have been some comments made both here & on Fans in regards to "always making the same thing". I enjoy making the jewels & my thoughts are - don't look it you don't like it. Thanks, my friends for all your wonderful support. Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. chrisco97
Awesome work on the one Possum mentioned! It is really realistic. I also love the new ones, especially the glossy blue one. And I like "A Mother's Love."
Heat Stroke
I like the colors in missing you. Blue ghost flames is very well done! Did you draw those flames? A mother's love is awesome! Goonfella
Three more top notch images Barbie. Well done. I like the Blue Flames one. Makes me think of Welshy`s team and how their season is going up in smoke (I hope!) barbieq25
Chrisco, thank so much. Glad you like them. Heat Stroke, yes I did draw those flames. I used line tool to create the shape & then selected the inside part & erased the line. Then there was a bunch of distortions like Sine Waves & stretched them by using the rectangle select to taper the tips & vary the width of the flames. Goonie, I got a chuckle out of your last sentence - the one that Welshy described as slightly delusional... Welshy, thank you. I appreciate you stopping by. Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. barbieq25
Thanks Heat Stroke. New images page 1. I've been going through some sign writing books lately & got my inspiration to make the Freedom one. Celtic myths & legends have long been an interest. I got a book from the trash shop & I got a lot of inspiration. Yeah, I know I could have surfed the net but the is something magical about reading a book in bed. barbieq25
Thanks so much for the high praise, Heatstroke. I feel a very strong connection with Cornwall, although I was born in Germany. I expect that there will be a full round piece & a few more Celtic pieces too. The blue cross is a result of Radial Blur Deluxe on one of the ring shapes of the shield bits, recoloured, underneath layer full black & then cut, possibly some True Blur in it too. barbieq25
Double post: New image on p. 1 again inspired by by book on Celtic myths & somethings on SBS about Archimedes, esp. his principle on water displacement. Heat Stroke
Looks great! I almost think there should be some silver in there though... Maybe that would make it too busy? Still, great image! chrisco97
I think silver would suit it better. But anyway, great image. Really nice!
