Creating a logo

Recommended Posts

Ugh... This is one of the last things I wanted to do, but I've just been having so much trouble lately. Anyway, can someone help me create a logo? You could draw out a layout, share with me a few ideas, or if you want, create the whole picture! It would say just "VN". If this would be any help, I'll describe my "company" I am a amateur film maker who creates short stop motion films with LEGO, brickfilms.

If anyone is able to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here's my quick hack:

By the way, what equipment do you use for stop motion photography? I'm thinking that I'd like to get something cheap for my daughter to play with. Any recommendations?

I should have been more informative.

Here is my current logo:

Pretty basic right?

So yes, I wanted one a little more... Not sure how to explain it. But I've always been fond of Tutvid's logo on Youtube.

So I was kinda tinking of adding some kind of neat flames or something to mine, but sadly I'm the greatest at Paint.net...

hope you understand perspective and shape 3d, hint:wikipedia, because I'm not going to do your work for you, I don't have enough time for that :P. I was thinking a isometric "vn" in lego bricks. if you are going to add flames, don't follow a tut, esspecially not tom jackson's tut, though they supplie you with a realistic looking flame, you are not looking for it, use lines to create sharp egdes and maybe some smudging, but not the fire tut.by the way, boltbait the perspective is a tiny bit off.

History repeats itself, because nobody was paying attention the first time.

Ah. Maybe animation would got on the other side of the "N", make the 3D go the other way. Just a though. The font is the SEGA font, can be found easily if you want to do some stuff using the concept yourself. Thanks for the comment. :)

OK, I'll try and do that. :)

I don't think it turned out as good as it did for you LFC, but I like it. :D Anyway, how did you create that shadow?

Yeah, this thread is done.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
