Poche
I've been trying to find this out for hours. And not any luck searching here. It's obvious how to change line width and then draw a line. But how does one draw a line that gradually decreases in width as you draw? I have seen it done in a video. I have seen answers that say "press the CTRL and either the left or right bracket key while drawing the line". I cannot do it. Can anyone point me to a tutorial? toe_head2001
Short answer: This can't be done in Paint.NET. Longer answer: In Paint.NET v3, you could hold down either bracket key while drawing with the Paintbrush tool, and the brush stroke would adjust accordingly. It been more than 10 years since anyone (most people) has used v3, so you must have seen a really old video. Quote (September 25th, 2023) Sorry about any broken images in my posts. Poche
Yes, they were very old videos. So, the older version has more functionality? I'm using 5.0.13. Is there a plugin I need?
Rick Brewster
That wasn't a case of having "more functionality," it was actually just a bug that folks were having fun with. Your follow-up question was then answered by the developer of Paint.NET himself. Are you saying we're toxic because you didn't get the answer you wanted?
