(open-ended) fill inside of an Object (shape) with many colors ? ---- (Can i darken the outside (contour) in a graduated way?)

• 2nd-image -- Can i darken  the outside (contour) in a graduated way?
   
• Then i used [Neon-Edges] -- (i like it that the Contour (or Eges) are dark -- can i make it darker?)      
   
• Ok,  (replacing the white spots with black, and)  Average-Color-Blur (with Radius=2)  got me the last image (a bit lame) --- is there a plugin that can give me this (from the "A" that i started with) ???

 

(open-ended question)   Other ways of filling the inside of an Object (shape) with many colors ???   (wavy lines,  spirals, etc.)

 

 

Add:      (darkening Contour -- seems to be related to this topic -- i'll look into it!)

Isolate the image on a transparent layer and run MJW / Red ochre Edge Shader on the layer.

(there are many more options than I used for this demo)

Wow.  Thanks!  i'll try that.

(using Red ochre's  Objectedge)   The 1st is like Tree-rings.             The last one is  A with a Halo.

(using Red ochre's   Artistic / Contour   on the above)            Yep!  Rainbow-rings around the Contour was what i wanted!!!

 

 

Right now,  the  Rainbow-Contour  is  pretty thin --- Can i make it twice or 3 times as thick?  (i guess that's the Blur-Radius setting)

You could do this:

 

1.  Outline your letter on a separate layer.

2.  Make your contours on your initial letter.

3.  Go to the outline and repeat contours.
