RoryK Posted October 9, 2023 Share Posted October 9, 2023 When I try to uninstall or upgrade Paint.NET I get a box saying Quote The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'PaintDotNet_x64_243667732.msi' in the box below. Use source: C:\Program Files\paint.net\Staging\ I've tried using the windows troubleshooter from here but that didn't find anything to fix. "Troubleshooter couldn't identify the problem". Is it possible to get the old installer msi? Perhaps that'll help windows/paint.net do an uninstall. If not, any other tips? Please use this utility to remove the broken installation: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed Afterwards, you should be able to install paint.net anew.
