Kieran.W!
Thanks. Mines isn't that good but i'll experiment with more colours. Here's my first try
pyrochild
Im having some problems on step 5 and 6 what is wrong :Fme to all it does to mine is make the middle of the gradient bars all pixely outlined... You probably accidentally changed a blend mode or did a gradient on the wrong layer. Easy enough mistakes to make. Just make sure to read each step carefully as you go, and things should turn out ok. I wrote the steps as detailed as possible, because in this tutorial, every little detail matters. Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it! Olenlollo
:S Everything is right it wont change On the step 6 it happens like in the pic i posted. LFC4EVER
:S Everything is right it wont change On the step 6 it happens like in the pic i posted. As u can see in the pic: It turns up like that afte the Blend Mode is set to Color Burn The linear reflected gradient layer should be below the gradient bars layer. You apply the blend mode the the gradient bars layer not the linear reflected gradient layer. Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆  .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::. LFC4EVER
Try deselecting after rendering gradient bars. Then do the linear reflected gradient. Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆  .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::.

LFC4EVER
Are you sure you're setting the blend mode to Color Burn and not Color Dodge? I don't think you are, as i just tried it myself now, and got this: Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆  .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::.

LFC4EVER
Well, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong on what you're doing. Can you show me the gradient bar settings? It may be them that are causing the problem. I used these settings and it worked fine: [*:3cjy58vj]Alignment - 1.00[*:3cjy58vj]Scale - 1.00[*:3cjy58vj]Width - 1[*:3cjy58vj]Spacing - 0[*:3cjy58vj]Angle - 90.00[*:3cjy58vj]Antialias box was checked Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆  .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::. LFC4EVER
No problem! I think you must've increase the spacing of the bars. Have fun with the tut! Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆  .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::.

pyrochild
In Paint.NET when you choose to save a file as a JPG, it gives you a dialog box with a quality slider. The higher this slider, the bigger the filesize will be, but also the better quality image. In this day and age of relatively cheap 1TB hard drives and 30Mbps internet connections, filesize is almost a nonissue. So go for quality. Rich.Macabre
in all honesty my slider was all the way up : / dunno what went wrong
LFC4EVER
Avoid saving as a .jpg unless you wish to save disk space. Save as a .png to retain quality, and it doesn't take up much more space than a .jpg. Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆  .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::.
