am1paint
Hello, a friend of mine - 78 years old - crashed his paint.net installation somehow. Neither an upgrade to 4.3.4 nor an uninstallation does work. The installer always requests a file named PaintDotNet_x64_968489591.msi We already tried a lot of installation setups from various previous versions, but the installer always requests the same file for uninstallation. I tried manually install versions from 4.0.x - 4.3.x to check, if the specific .msi file is deployed, but nothing. Even versions below 4.0.x, like 3.5.x doesn't work. But it seems, this missing file must be a file from a >4.x installation, because versions below 4.x are just x86 versions, not x64. Where can i get it from? Does anyone have this version and can upload? Does anyone know the version behind this .msi? We already tried https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d but this doesn't help. The paint.net installation isn't shown in the software list, so something already removed the list-entry of that software-list. I would be very thankful for every hint!
