Request: Displace plugin and Ripple plugin

Is there a way to make a plugin like photoshops displace plugin (not the displace / alphamask plugin)

and like photoshops ripple plugin (i know we have a ripple plugin but it's not the same)

Try using smudge in paintbrush mode to simulate the displace distort.

The ripple plugin in that tut looks kinda like the PdN Dents plugin, if you mess with the dents enough you might get an effect sorta like that.

that ripple also is sort of like what you get in the glass blocks larger size and stretched.

you may be able to adapt that . or possibly some sin waves + another distort plugin.

PDN's displacement can give that effect too.

i tried it, but i saw no similarities, how do use it, that it produces something in that way?

It's impossible to get the effect he is getting with displacement because he never shows his displacement map. To be honest, Curtis' displacement plugin is better than the option in PS.

PdN displacement is exactly the same like the PS displace...

Are you sure you know how to use this plugin correctly?
