Polygon line tool

Recommended Posts

Is there a polygon line tool plugin? You know you click one point and then another and a line is automatically created between those two points? Also if it creates a secondary window to work in that won't work for me. A simple no will do if there is not. Thank you.

Yes. You can use the ShapeMaker plugin for that.

You can try TR's SplineMaster plugin with setting for Tension = 0 but it creates a secondary window.

I though about this but I did not propose it because as Xod said it is an effect that uses its own window to create polygons.

The same can be said about ShapeMaker and I find it more difficult to use, also, the polygone's corners that it renders can be very sharp/pointy.

I wish there was a simple polygon tool something like the line tool

In the mean time you can draw your polygons using the line tool:

1. Trace a line.

2. Do not move your mouse or remove your hand from the mouse.

3. Use the left hand to press enter on the keyboard

4. Very careful and with moving the mouse make a click to start a new line

5. Repeat and continue until you finish your polygon.
