Star_Trek_Fan
Is there a way to duplicate the planet and explosion that's behind it from this http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/6162/animaniacfarscape031024sm0.jpg photo? Sorry about that. It should work now.

Curmudgeon
You could try a couple things... Using the Sparkles plugin set to a high number of sparkles with large radius (not flares) or Perhaps the Light Rays plugin and a radial gradient combination. Sparkles and Light Rays are both in the Madjik-all pack of plugins
Crimson
The planet can easily be done with the Shape3D plugin. The light/explosion canb e done with a zoom blur (I find that the Deluxe version is better.) jerkfight
Explosion 1. Yellow on orange circle, gaussien blur. 2. New layer under that one white circle. twist, zoom blur (deluxe) see if that works.

Curmudgeon
I still thought the sparkles plugin would be beneficial, so I tried a quick example using sparkles, and the result is below.
Star_Trek_Fan
I tired using the sparkles plugin, but I couldn't get it to work.
