  1. I suppose two university degrees don't count? Hourly wage? Glue_man - go back to where you belong. I'm sure a village somewhere is missing you.
  2. There is a book you haven't read...keywords are influence, win & people...guess you & the executives missed that one. This is a family friendly forum & your crass remarks are unwarranted & unwelcome. If this is what you think of the program & forum, why do you bother. Executive salary should allow you to purchase a "real" program. On a more positive note - good to see that your exclamation & question mark keys work. They should ask for a pay rise in keeping with their workload.
  3. Nice one. I like what you have done here with the grids.
  4. Here's mine: Stock used available from: http://image.hotrod.com/f/9200422/hrdp_ ... ignals.jpg
  5. Well, I can't really see much difference in them but they look great. A very interesting & pleasing work. Well done!
  6. Helen's tute is resonably easy. I print all the tutes & then tick off the steps as I do them to help prevent me from getting lost
  7. Congratulations, Sharp! Great image. This one was so very hard to decide. So many great images... Again, well done Sharp!
  8. Nice spheres. Have a look at HELEN's galaxy ball tute. The highlights there would give your spheres real pop. I use it often in mine. Love the new avvie & sig too. Super!
  9. Good onya! The last one is brilliant! Well done!
  10. Sometimes I use Gassian Blur @ 2 to smooth things out. Does this help at all?
  11. Like the new image but not fond of the zigzaggy lines. Nice colours! There are tutes for it too (Apophysis) but still trying to get my head around PdN. I have created some fairly nice fractal bases in PdN. They just need polishing & a setting. Gallery will be updated as I finish them. I agree that we should always keep an open mind. As a teacher of adults there are 4 secrets to learning that I try to instill in my students: 1. Mistakes - are miss-takes & a learning opportunity via feedback 2. Confusion - means you have part of the info so you're not clueless 3. Curiosity - questions such as what am I missing? what worked/not worked? how's they do that? 4. Attitude - believe in yourself There is a whole lot more to the booklet in this that I have written for my students but that's it in a nutshell. Looks like we are both enrolled in the lifelong learning school
  12. Apophysis I have tried a couple of times...glad someone's getting the hang of it but it isn't me I have tried many times to create a fractal in PDN & failed in my mission but have come up with useful backgrounds.
  13. 007 Nab - yes I agree with those recommendations. Also the glowy line right near the 'K' leg, is not as smooth as it should be in keeping with the rest of the sig. Maybe wrap it around the leg? Otherwise - very stylish! Well done!
  14. Thanks, Spilcit for the correct details for the image. Nice idea with the rendering of the fractal. Looking forward to seeing more complex works from you. When I first started, I did all the tutes that I could get my hands on. I printed them all off & put them in a ring binder & made notes as I went along. This helped me to understand how things worked, where they are, & how to do things & experimented along the way too. The value of the tutes should not be underestimated. Great first image...I do like what you have done.
  15. Sigs are personal, I think. I like mine (obviously!)...if nobody else does then it's tough luck. I like your sig a lot. I like the choice of font esp. After a while you get your own style but it never hurts to put into practice the advice given by other established artists. I'd rate your sig at 8.5/10. Good onya hope to see more work form you.
  16. Just love the pink twist ball. Well done yet again!
  17. Congratulations to yy10! Also Sokagirl & Skullsplitter. It was great to see so many lovely entries. The were all good & it was hard for me to pick one.
  18. Ok, Sharp. Guess I'd have to agree. Nice image, very nice!
  19. Sharp, I think there is still room for your entry?
  20. WOW! Just fantastic! I love this image...the colours, the shape. Very good work - your work just keep getting better & better. Can't wait to see what you come up with next. Awesome!
