MS Paint works. I tried what you said and put an image on my desktop named "untitled.png" and then tried the effect and it said "App could not be loaded, please check that it is installed on the machine." The way I had it previously, it loaded photoshop elements, just didn't open the image layer... :? idk

I have been having a problem with getting Photoshop elements 5.0 to work. When I try the plugin, it opens PSE 5.0 but doesn't open the layer that I was working on... so I can't really edit with the other software.

It is a separate plugin that you have to use to make this effect. It can be found [here].

That is a good movie, I have seen it a couple of times, but i never noticed that. i will have to watch it again. It would be cool if they used Paint.NET in creating the title cover and stuff like that.

Found a good one! Ultimate List of Free Software from Microsoft I know it is only from a blog, but Lifehacker linked to it! That is a good list of software on there and I think most of them are great, I know some of them are good for software developers. I also found an image resizer there that can be very useful

I was trying to reproduce what i did to make this image, but I could not remember how. I know I used some blend mode changes, zoom blur deluxe, diagonal lines, the jumble tool, then after jumble I used the panelling plugin on it. That's about as in detail as I will be able to get, sorry if this doesn't really help, i am kinda stumped myself, oh well, thanks for the awesome critique on it! I can send you the pdn file if you want so you can mess around with it and see what you can add to it.

I have XP Home Edition SP3, had no problems with upgrade when I installed it a while back. I just have one question, what does the .NET Framework exactly do for Windows... cause I don't really understand that part...and where can i find what version of the framework i have? ~thanks in advance
