  1. yup! hmmm. Who wants to see what it looked like before I discovered custom brushes? (it was one of the first pieces i ever started, and one of the most recent pieces finished.)
  2. hmm. I haven't updated in a while. Here, have a nice tree!
  3. @aziz: Nice! @salu: neat, though imo the two targets could benefit from a little antialiasing. @-Expiration-:sodifhgbdo  dfghoisdhgall the textures and shinies! the wallpaper pack is now awaited by at least one person!
  4. the part near the top looks almost exactly like the highlights I was aiming for. This is how it looks after making the highlights not so visible.
  5. added shadows, working on highlights. is this better? I think it looks more watery already, thanks!
  6. I've been working on this texture. It's supposed to look like a pool, but I'm not sure how to make it look more like a pool, as it doesn't look very pool-like to me. :?
  7. looks sort of like brass chains on a winch to me.
  8. I like it, though you may want to post it over here too, if you really want a rating. You may want to play with the edges of the render a bit, to lighten them in order to make them seem like they're being backlit, and work a bit on the clouds on the background. I like your choice of render, though.
  9. I like the way you matched the color of the players' jerseys to the background, though I would suggest playing with different background effects. Good work, keep it up, ands welcome to the forums!
  10. I just realized...the first one looks like the interior of a glass bowl by Dale Chihuly (Wiki this)..drat. It doesn't show his glass bowls on the wiki. I also like your third piece, the lines from the polar inversion are very interesting in a good way.

  13. I really like the way you adjusted the contrast on the first one- the trees look especially nice, and good job on rendering the car on the far right in the second one. 8)
  14. My favorite is the INOX design picture
  15. Good job! You may want to put a little shine on it, too, t give it a more bubbly feel. And there are some really great tutorials over in the tutorials section of the forums, so don't forget to visit there, too! Welcome, and have fun Paint.NETing!
  16. Thank you! if you take out sleep, that frees up a whole bunch of time! Thanks!
  17. I like it! Icicles came to mind the first time I saw that. Now it looks like flawless quartz.
  18. How did I miss you gallery? Your stuff is awesome!
  19. Thanks! Now that I look at it, I can sort of see it, too.
  20. Oh dear monkeys! It's a double post! No! :o an experiment in grass, to practice a technique for something I've been working on.
  21. Your poker table looks really realistic, and I especially like the fireball-ly thing in your just messing around stuf! Great stuff!
  22. Welcome to the forums! On all of your pictures you do a good job at cutting out the images, especially on the last one. 8) Two suggestions, though: use feather, and on the third one down, try duplicating the layer the wings are on, hiding one layer, and then erasing the places where you can see a little bit of the background behind them. Then set the transparency of your primary color to about 70 and use the clone tool. :CloneStamp: Set the clone tool's source to the hidden layer, and then go to the visible wings layer and start brushing it in with that. This suggestion is based off of Wither's faking soft brushes tutorial. Happy Paint.NETing
  23. That's really good cardboard! I can almost smell it!
  24. @vixie Really good for a first! I really like the way you played with the shape! 8) @ jake2k  Ack! the shinyness!!!! I really like the ones that go from red to orange
