  1. copy the image onto a new layer over the picture you are trying to clone an image onto, hide it or make it partially transparent, and then set the source on the partially transparent layer, and then select the layer which you want to clone the picture on to, align the two circles, and clone!
  2. I really like your new sig. It looks sort of like a colorful jet of flame to me.
  3. I think there could be a few more sparks on the left of the collision, but that's just me. I love the color in it so far. It does not bother me that you center your WIPs
  4. I would say to duplicate that layer with the person, cut out the person on the top layer, add a new layer and move it behind the cutout person layer. Find a stock image of white bird's wings, cut them out, and paste on the layer behind your cutout person. (if you are having trouble with cutting the wings out, here is a tutorial)
  5. Try selecting the original layer and unchecking the visibility box in the cutout layer befor you press delete. Hope this helps!
  6. Looks good so far! I would say that most of the lighting would come from the sun, so just position the light source over where the sun is, and quite a bit back, so it looks like it's coming from behind.
  7. I agree with Nab, the third one is my favorite, but I also like the second one. I'm not so sure about the flower on the first one, though. Everything looks good. 8)
  8. Yup! Thanks! * falls over from shock * Thank you!!
  9. wow. That's pretty oma, I can't really describe what it looks like to me, sort of a cavern, but instead of rock there's water, and it's lit from below. LJXD: I like hat way you used the brushes as clouds with tendrils. Looks sort of doomsday-ish to me.
  10. I can see that you like the crystal signature tutorial
  11. Thanks! I actually used pretty much the same method for the cliffs as everything else, I just made my strokes more controlled- different texture and all that.
  12. It does look sort of like glass text- One suggestion I would make to make it look more like glass would be to but a dim lighter area on the bottom.
  13. looks good! I like the way you used color balance. Welcome to the forums!
  14. Thank you! cliffs are done! they didn't take all that long to do, I was just distracted quite a bit today.
  15. OOH! nice, the pictures are sort of like 300's style.
  16. ^ not sure how to respond to that cliffs are about 60% done. It's a small and simple element.
  17. yes, but MS paint doesn't have savable palettes, or antialiasing. redoing all of the palettes every time would drive me insane.
  18. Thanks! You guessed correctly. I use a 1 px wide brush and extensive palettes to color.
