  1. If it's still up, then it hasn't crashed. Try pressing [esc].
  2. Uninstalling Paint.NET won't remove your plugins.
  3. I'd like to be reasonably confident that someone is responsible enough to run a competition before letting them do so. It's no fun to enter a contest and then wait 6 months before the host finally gets around to tallying the votes. Aislin and AGJM you can do your competitions

  6. Cropping works a little differently in Paint.NET. You make a selection using the Rectangle Select tool, then choose Image -> Crop to Selection.

  11. Not really necessary. TranslateTransform() will move the origin of the Graphics object, then RotateTransform() will rotate it about the new origin.
  12. The freeze mask has varying effectiveness. To make it freeze "harder" you need to set the Strength higher.
  13. Yes, you use the Freeze tool to "protect" part of the image from modification.
  14. Is your My Documents folder in the normal location? (C:\Users\account name\My Documents\)
  15. Turns out this is a Paint.NET issue. The crash also occurs when opening the Palettes folder. Opened
  16. In that case, it's a Paint.NET issue after al I'll reopen your original thread. Post the new log there.
  17. On the Colors Window, click the little folder icon right above all the swatches, and then click Open Palettes Folder. Let me know if it crashes or opens the palettes folder.
